That fact alone put Cynthia somewhat at ease.

As soon as Mathis left, she called Neville Quinn.

"Dad, Bianca is pregnant with Mathis's child. That baby cannot be allowed to live."

Whether Mathis liked Bianca or not, that baby was still a Jagger heir.

Given Theodore's attitude, there was a very real chance Bianca's kid would end up more favored than her own son, meaning they would be stealing pieces of the empire that rightfully belonged to Lamont.

The mere thought of it made Cynthia want to rip Bianca to shreds.

She acted so high and mighty, pretending to walk away from Mathis, but behind his back, she was secretly baking his baby, planning to use the kid to secure her spot at the top.

She could forget about it.

Neville had no intention of letting anyone threaten his daughter's status either. "She really doesn't know her place, thinking she can trap him with some bastard baby. I'll get some people on it right away and make sure she miscarries. Don't you worry!"

"Make sure it's clean, Dad. The Jaggers cannot find out about this."

What the father and daughter didn't know was that Theodore had also watched Bianca's lecture. He didn't understand the tech, but he had experts who did.

"Mr. Jagger, Ms. Baldwin is a rare genius in the computing world. She was personally mentored by Walter Adler."

Theodore was immensely pleased, chuckling to himself. *Such a brilliant girl is my granddaughter-in-law.*

He couldn't even fathom how high the IQ of the baby she was carrying would be.

If Mathis hadn't insisted on that ridiculous secret marriage, Theodore would have thrown them the wedding of the century just to show off the younger generation's prowess.

Even if her relationship with Mathis was on the rocks, the fact that she was willing to have his child meant things weren't completely beyond repair.

Ever since they landed Fiyato, clients had been practically lining up at their door for partnerships.

As Mia Vaughn put it, "Before, our sales team was begging people for scraps. Now, we finally get to walk around with our heads held high."

Truthfully, Bianca felt the patents she currently held weren't advanced enough. Between running the company, she spent every spare second researching entirely new computing architectures, preparing to roll out a brand-new patent.

Theodore hadn't discovered that Mathis had quietly transferred all his shares in Stellaride directly to Bianca.

He was just incredibly disappointed that Mathis wasn't doubling down on investing in her. If she had the absolute freedom to focus purely on her research, her achievements would be earth-shattering.

But he kept those thoughts to himself, simply chatting with her casually before signaling Harriet to hand over the family heirloom that symbolized the matriarch of the Jagger family.

It was the Twin Fish Pendant, passed down since antiquity.
