Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 225 by Ansel Bick
Bianca explained the situation exactly as it happened. When Theodore heard that Mathis was surrendering custody of his own daughter for Cynthia's sake, he nearly choked on his own breath.
"If he keeps acting like this, Dawnstar Capital is going to end up with the Quinn surname!" Theodore was utterly baffled. "Is there something wrong with his brain? He previously deactivated Cynthia's access card to the executive suite and stopped seeing her as much.
"I thought he had finally come to his senses. Why does he go running every time that woman snaps her fingers? No, I need to call him and chew him out. If I don't yell at him, I'm going to be suffocating on my own rage all day."
Bianca naturally wasn't going to stop him. She was happy for anyone to scream at Mathis.
Theodore had always had a fiery temper; it was part of the reason he had fallen so ill and nearly died on the operating table.
Keeping it bottled up wouldn't do him any good.
If his health permitted, he would probably drive over and dismantle the Quinn family himself.
Theodore grabbed his phone and unleashed a furious barrage of insults at Mathis. Mathis didn't get angry, nor did he offer any excuses. He merely stated that he knew what he was doing.
It was like punching cotton. Theodore fumed, "I only recognize Bianca as my granddaughter-in-law! That Quinn woman is never stepping foot in the Jagger family. If you insist on marrying her, I will personally hijack the hotel screens at your wedding and play the evidence of her being a mistress on an endless loop!"
Bianca thought that was a fantastic idea. On the day of their wedding, she could totally rally a few hacker friends to breach the venue's computers and give them some spectacular free publicity.
Mathis simply dropped a cold, "Do whatever you want," and hung up the phone.
Theodore rubbed his chest in sheer frustration. Bianca handed him a blessed charm she had brought back from the Sanctuary of the Waves to comfort him. "Please, don't be angry anymore. He and I just weren't meant to be. Things are actually great the way they are now. Whenever I have time, I'll bring Aveline over to visit you."
Theodore took the blessed charm and happily tucked it into his pocket.
"I've spent the last two winters down in Palm Harbor. Where exactly were you hiding?"
