Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 253 by Ansel Bick
Bianca shook her head. "It's just basic courtesy for a friend. He was hungover in my home; I couldn't exactly just ignore him.
He's always been good to me, but I can't force myself to fall in love with him. Taking care of him a little is the least I can do."
Bianca had a naturally giving personality. When the people around her treated her well, she always made sure to return the favor.
Jax looked at her pointedly. "You know, if you just start a new relationship, Mathis will finally give up."
Bianca didn't agree with that logic at all. Back when she had deliberately lied to Mathis and made him believe she had cheated on him, it had only made him more stubbornly obsessed.
Mathis's thought process wasn't something a normal person could comprehend.
"I don't need to care about what Mathis thinks. I just need to focus on my own life," Bianca said dismissively. "He's too erratic. Trying to guess what's going on in his head is a waste of a life."
Jax agreed with her reasoning and got up to go wash up.
Stellaride Computing had copied her on the venue layout for the upcoming Developer Conference. Bianca scoured the plans for any loopholes; she had no intention of letting Cynthia off the hook.
As for Mathis, she would deal with him once Aveline's condition stabilized.
Milo emerged a little while later, dressed in his new clothes. They fit him perfectly, highlighting his tall, athletic physique.
He was secretly thrilled. Bianca had excellent taste in menswear.
Milo snapped a quick selfie and posted it on his socials with the caption: *The woman I love bought me clothes for the first time, and they fit like a glove. She has the perfect eye for detail. So happy!*
Unsurprisingly, Mathis saw the post almost immediately. He had set Milo on special alerts, and he recognized the background of Crestmont International in an instant.
Bianca had actually let Milo stay the night.
In a split second, Mathis felt all the blood rush to his head.
Unable to suppress his blazing fury any longer, he disregarded everything and called Bianca right away.
Assuming something had happened to Aveline, Bianca answered quickly. "Is Aveline okay?"
