Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 268 by Ansel Bick
Bianca grabbed some sautéed greens. "Nothing special. Bring whatever you want, just don't make it too expensive. Xanthe has a rather difficult sister who might try to take advantage of you."
"Got it. I'll swing by and pick you up the day after tomorrow, okay?"
"Alright." Once she finished filling her plate, Bianca added, "Let's go sit next to the professor. I'll help you snap a few pictures with him so you can send them to your dad. That way, he won't think you're just idling around and will stop lecturing you as much."
Milo chuckled. "You're actually putting a lot of thought into this for me."
Bianca spoke calmly. "You bought me morning tea almost every weekend when I was in Austin City. Since you've been in Kingsbridge City, I haven't really hosted you properly. It's the least I can do."
Hearing this only made Milo happier. All he wanted was to be deeply entangled in Bianca's life.
"Whatever you do for me makes me happy," he said with a bright grin. "If Dr. Sagan's meds run out and your sleep hasn't improved, come back to Austin City to see her, and I'll pick you up."
"There's no need for all that trouble. I can fly there myself," Bianca said. "Your new game is launching soon, so you'll have plenty to deal with. Don't constantly bend over backwards for me; it makes me feel guilty."
Milo actually wanted her to feel a little indebted to him. He planned to find any excuse to visit her in the future.
Mathis and Cynthia were standing right behind them, entirely eavesdropping on their conversation.
Cynthia leaned in and whispered to Mathis, "Look at how shameless Bianca is, acting so intimately with Milo in public. She's not even hiding her desperation to latch onto the Wilder family."
Nothing infuriated Cynthia more than seeing Bianca doing well. If Bianca managed to marry Milo after the divorce, she would still be living the glamorous life of a billionaire's wife.
Why should she get to marry into wealth for a second time? She deserved to end up exactly like her mother, working herself to death.
Mathis's voice was low and dark. "She won't marry into his family."
