Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 269 by Ansel Bick
The professor's blunt categorization of Cynthia was too much for Milo, who burst into loud laughter.
He couldn't resist adding, "Professor Adler, you must be an expert at sorting trash."
The professor nodded. "Of course I am!"
Even Cillian couldn't hold back a chuckle.
Cynthia's face turned beet red.
Her confidence instantly evaporated, but relying on her usual tactic of playing the fragile victim, she turned to Mathis.
"Mathis, I..." she whimpered, huge tears immediately rolling down her cheeks.
Mathis patted her shoulder lightly. "Don't provoke the professor."
Milo bluntly told them to leave. "You both know nobody wants you here, so why sit at this table?"
Mathis glared at him, his voice laced with burning fury.
"And in what capacity do you think you're sitting next to Professor Adler?"
Milo lifted his chin proudly. "I'm Bianca's friend, and the professor doesn't lose his appetite looking at me. Unlike you two, who insist on shamelessly staying where you clearly aren't welcome."
Mathis slammed his fork heavily onto the table, his eyes blazing. "Milo, did I give you permission to speak?"
Milo had never been afraid of anyone. "Mathis, I suggest you read the room and avoid angering the professor. Don't think you can cover the sky with one hand forever."
Mathis's sheer stubbornness kicked in. The more Milo tried to force him out, the more determined he was to stay.
"I'm not leaving. What are you going to do about it?"
Professor Adler was highly annoyed, but right at that moment, a senior executive sat down at their table. The official had a very good relationship with Mathis and enthusiastically struck up a conversation about the future direction of the tech industry.
