Summary for Chapter 307: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 307 by Ansel Bick

Evita felt a deep disgust for Lamont, thinking the kid was far too vicious for trying to disfigure someone's face at such a young age.

She had heard a little about the rivalry between Bianca and Cynthia, but that was between adults, and Bianca had never targeted Lamont.

For Lamont to be so ruthless, Evita looked at him now as if he were a wild beast.

She wished he weren't her grandson; children born from such inferior genetics were unacceptable.

Evita bluntly refused, her face full of revulsion for Lamont. "Send him to the Quinn house. I want to take care of Aveline."

Hearing this, Rosalind's heart nearly jumped out of her chest. If Lamont went to the Quinns, he might expose her.

She didn't want to go to prison.

Rosalind hurriedly pretended to be sympathetic, picking Lamont up and blaming Evita. "Mom, how could you? My brother is going to rescue Cynthia, and with Lamont not having his parents around right now, you as his grandmother need to help watch him."

Evita glared. "Shut up! Who told you to meddle in your brother's affairs?"

None of them gave her peace of mind. She intensely regretted being jealous of Bianca and making her suffer in the Jagger family back then.

If she had treated her well, would things be different now?

Rosalind still insisted on taking Lamont back.

If they hadn't been in public, Evita would have slapped her daughter. Cynthia had done something so disgraceful to the family, Evita didn't want anything to do with her.

"I'm not taking him. What's there to take care of with a child like this?"

Rosalind forced her hands to stop shaking, holding Lamont and shooting a pleading look at Mathis.

Mathis also told Evita to take him back and take care of him, then had his driver take him to the police station.

Evita reluctantly took Rosalind and Lamont back, not wanting to even touch Lamont.

In the ambulance.

On the way to the hospital, Bianca looked at Milo with teary eyes, feeling both touched and frightened. Her voice was soft. "Milo, thank goodness you blocked it for me, or I might have gone blind. I don't know how to thank you."

Milo clasped her hand tightly, smiling. "I'm your boyfriend. If I don't protect you, who will?" Milo looked at her passionately. "Then after your matters are settled, let's get married, okay?"

After asking, Milo's heart pounded, terrified Bianca would refuse.

But unexpectedly, Bianca agreed immediately. "Okay, I'll marry you. You just have to wait for me for a while."

Not having the final divorce decree yet, she couldn't get a marriage license with Milo.

She understood better than anyone how precious a man's life-risking love was. She smiled softly. "Milo, God treats me well, letting me find my way to you after everything."

In that split second just now, Milo didn't even care what Lamont was spraying; he just shielded her with all his might.
