Summary for Chapter 321: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 321 by Ansel Bick

Mathis told Theodore everything. He explained that his years of enduring humiliation were a direct result of underestimating the Quinn family.

He truly regretted getting involved in this mess and was currently trying to figure out a way to win Bianca back.

Theodore shot him a glare. "You brought this on yourself. You knew you treated Bianca poorly all those years, yet you pushed an outstanding man like Milo right into her life.

It would be a miracle if they didn't fall for each other.

And you must have lost your mind when you were sick. If you liked Bianca all along, why didn't you just treat her well?"

Theodore didn't know that Mathis had fired the household staff years ago. Mathis had been recuperating at the time, and the family always put on a good face whenever Theodore saw Bianca, so the old man hadn't noticed.

Mathis confessed that he had misunderstood, thinking Bianca was in love with Jax. Theodore chewed him out for being an absolute idiot.

"You're more ruthless than anyone when fighting for business, but when it comes to love, you just leave it to fate?

Even if you mistakenly thought she had another man in her heart back then, you should have fought for her!

It's not shameful for men to fight over a woman. How many men have thrown punches over love?

But you, the great Mathis Jagger, did the exact opposite. Not only did you fail to treat her well, but you also bullied her. No wonder she's completely disillusioned.

Did you not realize that a woman needs love and care?"

Mathis thought to himself, *How was I supposed to know? I'd never been in a relationship before. I only knew how to be angry, and none of you taught me otherwise. From a young age, all I learned was deception and ruthlessness in business.*

Terrified that speaking his mind would only earn him more mockery, he chose to remain silent.

Theodore recalled how Milo had risked his life to protect Bianca the day before yesterday, and the way Bianca had looked at Milo with eyes full of love. He felt it would be nearly impossible for Mathis to win her back now.

He asked Mathis, "What are your plans now? You're not going to try and force her again, are you? Let me tell you, you absolutely cannot do that anymore. The more you push her, the further she'll slip away."

"I know."

After everything that had happened, he knew he had to yield to Bianca's wishes from now on.

Mathis said, "At the very least, she is still my wife for now. I'll take it one step at a time!"

He had already forbidden them from associating in public; now, it was his turn to put on a good performance.

If Milo could win her over, he surely could too.

He had everything Milo had, plus a far more successful career.

Theodore decided to play matchmaker. He planned to host a banquet to formally introduce Bianca and Aveline to high society.

Even though their marriage's days were numbered, he wanted to show them off while Bianca was still legally part of the family.

Mathis gladly agreed. He no longer needed to hide his wife and daughter.

He could proudly tell the whole world that Bianca Baldwin was the woman he cherished most.

Theodore then remembered that Mathis had sent Lamont to Jules's place, guessing that Lamont was actually Yarden's son.
