He was very rational and didn't seem like the type to conspire with Hugo.

Bianca said, "Then lead your team and draft what you consider to be the optimal solution. Send it to me as soon as possible."

Elias immediately agreed. "Understood!"

Right after Elias left, Mona knocked and walked in, looking thoroughly defeated.

Bianca instantly knew she hadn't managed to book Marcus Wilder.

She decided to hold off on trying again until they had the new proposal ready.

Suddenly, Bianca asked, "Mona, why can't you understand the local dialect after being in Austin City for so long?"

Mona looked embarrassed. "Not many people in Austin City speak that local dialect."

"Makes sense. I guess I don't need to learn it either."

The Wilder father and son were definitely avoiding her.

Quitting time rolled around quickly. In Bianca's inbox, there was only one client pain-point report—submitted by Mia Vaughn, the Sales Director.

The rest of the team hadn't moved an inch.

Perfect. In the entire sales department, Mia was the only one who hadn't been bought off by Hugo.

Without a second of hesitation, Bianca called HR. "Issue termination letters to everyone in the sales department immediately, with the exception of Mia Vaughn."

The HR manager was stunned. "Wait, fire the entire department? Aren't you worried this is going to blow up?"

"I'm not worried," Bianca said firmly. "Just do as I say."

Cillian abandoned any last shred of hope for him, stating firmly, "Do whatever you want!"

He had already pacified all the board members. If Mathis had too much time on his hands, let him try to stir the pot.

But Cillian knew Mathis wouldn't let this go easily, so as soon as he hung up, he took action.

Mathis was determined to send Bianca crawling back in disgrace.

Still anxious, Cillian asked Xanthe for Cynthia Quinn's phone number and dialed it.

"Ms. Quinn, this is Cillian Calder. Bianca has already fled to Austin City to get away from you two, but Mr. Jagger is making moves to strip her of her position at the branch. If she loses her job, I'll have no choice but to bring her back. Given how talented she is in R&D, I'm sure you don't want to see her back in Kingsbridge City either."

Cynthia felt a wave of dizziness. Bianca had actually run away—then she should never come back.
