Summary for Chapter 81: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 81 by Ansel Bick

Bianca joked, "Mr. Wilder, if you were a girl, I'd hug you every day."

Milo didn't mind being teased. He sat down, devoured his food, and casually paid the bill.

"I have a show tonight. Are you two beautiful ladies interested in watching me dance?"

Bianca looked him up and down. "No way, rich boy. You have to sell your looks on the side?"

She glanced at his slightly chubby hands again. Watching those hands dance would probably make the audience die laughing.

Milo scoffed. "Don't underestimate me. Just come watch tonight, and you'll see exactly how well I can move."

Mia played along supportively. "Then we absolutely have to go see Milo's performance."

Milo, looking smug, insisted on adding Bianca and Mia's contacts. Mia whispered in Bianca's ear, "I think his highness has his eye on you."

Bianca quickly said, "Don't be ridiculous. This is only the second time he's ever met me."

But Mia looked entirely convinced.

Milo finished his bowl of food like a whirlwind and said, "Don't talk bad about me right to my face! I'm heading to the office soon, so watch out, or I'll tattle on you to my dad."

Bianca gave him a sidelong glance and asked, "Mr. Wilder, are you serious?"

Milo flicked Bianca's forehead. "Can't your brain read between the lines?"

Bianca couldn't make sense of his words, and Milo got up and left.

In the corner of the restaurant, someone once again snapped photos of Bianca and Milo together.

As soon as Bianca drove her car out of the lot, the contact named *Phony Saint* sent another video call. Bianca rejected it, but he immediately called again.

Annoyed, Bianca sent a voice message. "I'm out with a coworker. It's not a good time. If you need something, text me."

Mathis finally stopped calling and sent a message instead: [Video call me when you have a moment. We have something to discuss face-to-face.]

Bianca narrowed her eyes, hoping he wanted to talk about the divorce.

Otherwise, she truly had absolutely nothing to say to him.

Mia looked at Bianca's beautiful face and said, "You're young and gorgeous. Even with a mistress on the side, a jerk like him would never just let you go. If you got divorced, do you have any idea how many men would be lining up for you?"

Bianca had never had a shortage of men confessing their feelings to her growing up, but she had never paid them any mind. The only man she had ever truly loved had never given her his heart.

It was a cursed romance.

Bianca carefully thought over Mia's words. After a long pause, she spoke up. "If I sign an agreement with him promising never to remarry, do you think he'd agree to the divorce?"

Mia nodded. "That might actually work."

Bianca felt it was a viable option. When they arrived at Fiyato, she asked Mia to head upstairs first. "I need to make a phone call. I'll be up in five minutes."

The elevator doors closed.

Bianca called Hector Goodwin. "Could you please help me draft a no-remarriage agreement?"

Hector, knowing full well how Jax Holden felt about Bianca, tried to persuade her otherwise. "It's almost been two months. Why don't you just wait out the mandatory separation period so the divorce finalizes automatically? You're only in your twenties. Swearing off marriage forever is way too extreme."
