Bianca smiled. "I promise I won't laugh at you next time."

A server brought Milo a drink. He took a sip, raised an eyebrow, and asked Bianca, "I'm a pretty professional singer, right?"

Bianca didn't hold back her praise and gave him a thumbs up. "You're amazing at both singing and dancing. Why haven't you gone into the entertainment industry?"

Milo replied, "I only sing Harbor City dialect songs, so the entertainment industry isn't really the right fit for me. Why haven't you joined it?"

Bianca said, "I don't know how to sing or dance."

"True, relying on just a pretty face isn't enough."

The three of them chatted and laughed for a while before calling it a night.

Bianca and Milo were secretly photographed together again. The person behind the camera was incredibly cautious, so even Milo's bodyguards didn't notice.

After returning home and washing up, Bianca video-called Mathis. When the call connected, it was Cynthia who appeared on the screen, dressed in extremely revealing lingerie.

Bianca's stomach lurched. Before she could even demand an explanation, Cynthia looked at her with pure disdain and sneered, "You've lost completely. How do you still have the nerve to video call Mathis?"

Bianca rolled her eyes. "Mathis is the one who told me to call him. Where is he?"

Cynthia didn't believe her for a second. She firmly believed Bianca was using this as a chance to seduce him, but she figured Bianca was just too stupid to put any real effort in, wearing cartoon pajamas that were more childish than a kindergartner's.

"Save the act. Mathis doesn't have the time of day for you. Stop throwing yourself at him; it's pathetic."

Before Bianca could snap back, Cynthia abruptly ended the call.

Bianca was so furious her stomach began to cramp. She lay in bed, unable to recover, and eventually had to call the hospital to send a car for her.

Mathis used a different phone to call Bianca. On the other end, her voice was incredibly weak.

"Mathis, I am begging you, just let me go, okay? I really don't have the energy to fight with you anymore. I'm so tired."

Mathis said, "Listen to my explanation. I didn't know she was coming over today. I genuinely needed to talk to you about something."

Bianca hadn't wanted to talk to him at all, but tonight had made her far too angry. Mathis humiliated her time and time again.

"So what? You never let me touch your phone, yet she answers it however she pleases. I get your message loud and clear. She's your sweetheart, and I'm nothing to you.

When it's the right person, everything they do is right. When it's the wrong person, everything they do is a mistake. If you're worried I'll find another man after we divorce, I can sign a no-remarriage agreement. From then on, we can go our separate ways and find our own happiness."

Mathis was silent for several seconds before replying, "I'm not getting a divorce. Don't block me. I won't let her touch my phone again. I was looking for you to discuss hiring you to work at Aeterna Dynamics. I'll double your salary."
