Summary for Chapter 85: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 85 by Ansel Bick

"Go have Dr. Jennings check your head! Don't ever harass me again. We have nothing to discuss except our divorce."

Feeling utterly drained, Bianca didn't want to hear Mathis's voice for another second and hung up the phone.

She blocked this number as well.

When she was young, naive, and experiencing love for the first time, she had offered up her whole heart.

Without worrying about the future, she had blindly thrown herself into that fleeting happiness.

All she got in return was endless, lingering pain, forcing her to slowly carve the man she had loved in her youth out of her heart, the agony making her wish for death.

Bianca slept terribly that night in the hospital bed. She kept dreaming of the three years Mathis was sick, feeling as though she was locked in a pitch-black room with absolutely no hope in sight.

When she woke up, she was drenched in sweat. She couldn't let Mathis manipulate her emotions anymore.

She had been drowning for three years, and she had finally managed to crawl ashore.

She was never looking back.

She was discharged the next morning, went home to change clothes, and headed straight to Fiyato.

On the way, she received a call from Simon Jennings. "Mathis isn't doing well right now. Can you come back and take care of him?"

Bianca felt Simon's tone was a bit strange today, but didn't think too deeply about it and flatly refused, "I've already quit my job as Mathis's nanny. Whether he lives or dies has nothing to do with me. Even if it were his funeral, the Jagger family wouldn't want me there."

Their bond was entirely depleted. All that was left for her and Mathis was to part ways permanently.

The constant drama of Mathis and Cynthia's romance played out endlessly online. Bianca had to constantly hit 'not interested' every time they popped up on her feed; it was practically giving her a trauma response.

Simon rubbed his throbbing forehead. "He has been acting very strange lately. Before you two got married, he didn't interact with Cynthia at all. I don't know where Lamont suddenly came from."

Bianca spoke while driving, "I don't care about their messy drama, and I don't want any contact with Mathis whatsoever. Yesterday, he insisted on a video call, so I assumed he wanted to discuss the divorce. When I called, Cynthia answered in a low-cut top.

It made me so furious I suffered a threatened miscarriage. The doctor said I almost lost the baby. If you have time, please advise him to focus on his cheating and stop going out of his way to make me sick. Even if I walked away with ten million of their family's money, I don't deserve this kind of karmic retribution, do I?"

Simon asked in shock, "How is the baby now?"

Bianca replied, "Nothing major. I got a stabilizing injection yesterday, so don't worry. Good thing the hospital you recommended is private enough. I seriously suspect Mathis has people watching me. He's acting like a complete psycho. I just got to the branch office, and he nearly ruined my deal with a major client.

I stepped aside to make room for him and his woman, and he's still making my life a living hell. Mathis has been acting like he's out of his mind lately. I have no idea what he's trying to do."
