He honestly thought anything was possible at this point.
The referee gave a sharp nod. "Begin."
The second the word left his mouth, Stern lunged at Juno.
The operatives from the Obsidian Court had already infiltrated the front rows, forming a tight perimeter around the ring. The moment Stern moved, shadows blurred through the crowd as the operatives closed in.
Even Morgan, who had been sitting in the audience moments ago, was now standing at the edge of the ring right next to the referee.
He positioned himself to intervene instantly if anything went wrong.
The referee was completely silenced by the overwhelming, terrifying aura radiating from him.
Who was this guy?
His presence was downright suffocating.
Stern was incredibly fast, and Juno was noticeably slower, struggling to dodge his brutal strikes.
A rare gleam of excitement flashed in Rhiannon's eyes.
She had never seen Juno humiliated before. Today was finally the day.
Her secretary's face was grim, lips pressed into a tight, anxious line.
She prayed desperately that Juno wouldn't get seriously hurt, knowing full well the terrifying forces backing this girl could easily annihilate the Talbot family.
It didn't matter if Stern lost; what mattered was Juno walking away in one piece.
The Talbot family had barely recovered from their last disaster. They absolutely could not survive another catastrophic blow.
She had assumed the real Corrington heiress would be smart enough to back down, but clearly, she didn't grasp the bigger picture.
Morgan gripped his cane so tightly his knuckles turned white.
The audience suddenly felt an inexplicable wave of tension wash over them, influenced by the lethal intent radiating from the hidden operatives.
They didn't even know why they were suddenly so anxious.
The massive Stern threw vicious, unrelenting punches as Juno continuously backed away.
But as she dodged, her sharp eyes were meticulously analyzing his movements.
Finally, she struck.
"Ah!"
Stern let out a guttural, agonizing scream.
Under the stunned gaze of the entire arena, he inexplicably clutched at his eyes.
One scream.
She had effortlessly punted a man who was a thousand times stronger than her right off the stage.
The referee rushed over to Stern, who had completely passed out from the impact. Finally, he announced, "Juno wins. The championship goes to the Jagger family."
The audience erupted into absolute chaos.
"Holy shit!!!"
"That was insane!!!"
"Holy shit! I have no words! Just holy shit!!!!"
The foreign fighters who thought they were going to be the main event ended up just being background extras.
Juno's breathing was a bit heavy, but she regulated it within moments.
The crowd below was still gaping like idiots.
Jeremy finally caught on to what had just happened. "Does she know pressure points?"
His assistant looked confused. "What do you mean?"
"They were fighting, and suddenly his arm went numb. Then his leg stopped working. What do you think?"
The assistant stood there, completely mind-blown.
