Titus's voice was just loud enough for Juno to hear perfectly.
Melba tugged at his sleeve. "If you're going to talk badly about someone, at least lower your voice. She heard you."
"So what if she heard? Is hearing me going to magically teleport her to the front row?"
From the row ahead, Lucia turned around, flashing a dangerously sweet smile. "Why are you so completely certain she can't, sir?"
Titus recognized Lucia. Seeing someone of her colossal stature addressing him, he immediately adjusted his posture, straightening his suit and adopting a grave, respectful expression. "Seating is strictly organized by status and power. Even someone as esteemed as yourself, Ms. Corbett, is seated in the third chair. The rest of the front row is fully occupied. Surely, she can't take the first or second seat."
Lucia nodded knowingly. "Ah, I see."
Titus nodded back.
Though the exchange was brief, he had at least made an impression on her. A future partnership might even be on the table now.
Morgan was technically supposed to stand and invite Juno to her seat, but Lucia beat him to it. Being so short, her standing up barely looked any different from Morgan sitting down.
However, the moment she stood, every single member of the Obsidian Court present rose to their feet in unison.
The sheer aura in the room shifted instantly.
Even if nobody could really see Lucia over the crowd.
Every eye in the hall locked onto Lucia, wondering what this titan of the underworld was doing.
Under the burning gaze of hundreds of elites, Lucia's voice rang out, clear and absolutely commanding: "Please take your seat, LORD."
Everyone in the know was perfectly aware that the subordinates of the Obsidian Court reserved the title of 'LORD' exclusively for their absolute ruler.
The people in the back rows craned their necks. Who? Who was LORD??
Those sharper than the rest followed the trajectory of Lucia's gaze, only to realize she was staring directly at...
Juno?!
The Corringtons already knew. After all, the fleet of helicopters, the sniper squads, and Juno's own unapologetic declaration—*Blackwood City, Juno Mercer*—had made it perfectly clear.
All the signs pointed to one undeniable truth: the Obsidian Court belonged to Juno.
Watching the room full of industry titans standing in wait for his daughter, Harrison remained entirely composed. He turned to her and said, "Go ahead. Take the seat that belongs to you."
It wasn't a loud display, but the sheer discipline sent massive shockwaves through the heart of every single person watching.
"What the hell??? The long-lost daughter of the Corrington family is the ruler of the Obsidian Court?!"
"Look at their reactions—that's not an act!"
"My God, the Corringtons really hid their power well!! The Talbot family is only still breathing because the Corringtons showed them mercy!"
The realization that the LORD of the underworld empire was a Corrington was utterly mind-blowing.
They had brought home a daughter with absolute, world-shaking power!!
People in the crowd kept shooting side-glances at Titus.
He had run his mouth so confidently, only to watch the girl casually take the absolute highest seat of honor in the room.
Rhiannon was equally paralyzed with shock.
She had never, in her wildest nightmares, imagined that Juno was the master of the Obsidian Court!
