“Exactly what it sounds like! Am I not your sweetheart?”
Finishec
Claire felt like she was tricking an innocent kid who knew nothing about the world. Yet Davy was such a big. rough–looking man that the contrast was strangely adorable.
Davy’s hands hovered awkwardly in the air. He nodded shyly and said, “Sweetheart!”
Claire smiled to herself. Yes, that’s more like it!
That charming, deep, husky voice with a hint of a rumble… It would be such a waste if he didn’t become a radio host!
She took Davy’s stiff hands and placed them around her waist. In an instant, she was wrapped in his broad, warm embrace, and her sense of security skyrocketed.
Davy held Claire in his arms. The moment he touched her, it was like something inside him had been switched on. His hands began to move on their own.
“You’re so soft… and you smell so good… Female…. Sweetheart…”
Claire let out a soft laugh. Like a silver bell drifting through the moonlit night, her laughter was impossible to resist.
Davy was completely lost in her laughter and the feeling of holding her. He had no idea what to do next. His mind had already gone completely blank, and he couldn’t remember a single thing Marcus had taught him.
Just as he was feeling frustrated, Claire lowered her face toward him.
Her soft lips were like clouds, and her nimble little tongue carried a sweet taste that left him completely intoxicated. Everything about her made Davy lose himself.
Claire kissed him while her mind raced.
How was I supposed to handle two?
I had no idea!
At that moment, she regretted not reading more books. You really do regret not studying more when the time comes!
After thinking for a long time, she still couldn’t come up with the perfect solution. So she made up her mind.
Forget it. She would just try one first!
But which one?
She hesitated for a moment, then quickly relaxed. They were all basically the same anyway. What did it
matter?
After randomly picking one, she was finally satisfied.
Chapter 301 Bonding Night
Under Claire’s guidance, Davy slowly learned how to take the lead.
Fuished
It only took half a night for Davy to completely turn the tables and start making all kinds of requests!
Claire felt a little regretful. Had I taught him too well? In the end, he had surpassed me, and I was the one paying the price.
Serves me right…
Still, she was completely lost in the endless calls of “sweetheart” and couldn’t bring herself to stop.
The next day was another bright and sunny day.
On the grassy area beneath the tree house, Zane was stacking some stone slabs. Before long, a simple kitchen had begun to take shape.
The floor and walls were built from fitted stone slabs. The roof was built with wood and covered with a thick layer of leaves on top. Even when it rained, water wouldn’t leak into the kitchen.
The kitchen only had three walls. The open side faced the grassy area where the younglings played, making it the perfect place to cook while keeping an eye on them.
Zane carried food, firewood, and other supplies into the kitchen. The curious younglings gathered around to watch, and they even helped by biting onto pieces of firewood and dragging them inside.
Today was Marcus’s turn to go hunting.
Although Zane said that because Marcus’s eyes were injured, he could stay home for now and take care of the younglings and Claire.
But Marcus insisted on going hunting.
He said, “I may not be able to see, but I’m not useless! I can still hunt!”
Zane had no choice but to agree.
Luckily, the other beastfolk in the hunting team didn’t mind Marcus joining them. In fact, they even encouraged him to quickly transform into his beast form so they could see it for themselves.
Surrounded by the excited beastfolk from the hunting team, the giant panda happily headed out.
Watching the younglings eagerly help while somehow making an even bigger mess, Zane had a feeling that Marcus had volunteered to hunt just to avoid babysitting!
However, Zane was incredibly patient. Even when the younglings scattered things everywhere, he never got angry. He simply smiled warmly and said, “Little ones, you’ve been a huge help! Keep it up!”
Zane Eleven flapped his tiny wings, carrying a piece of firewood in his mouth before dropping it into the kitchen.
He was flying more steadily now, though he was still a little slow.
