Chapter 332 Skyrion
Now, a baby had actually appeared!
Even though only the head was a baby’s, that somehow made it even creepier!
Pome was also stunned.

“Master, this shouldn’t happen under normal circumstances. But you’re different from ordinary females. There’s no telling what you might give birth to. From what I can tell, this is the legendary ancient deity, Skyrion!”
An ancient deity?
Sure enough, the moment Pome finished speaking, the familiar mechanical system announcement rang out.
“You’ve given birth to your 101st beastling. Species: Skyrion. Gender: Male. Level: 3. Reward: God-Striking Whip.”
Inside the storage space, a long silver whip suddenly appeared. It lay quietly coiled in a corner of the preservation space, appearing unremarkable. Yet the instant it appeared, the entire storage space let out a faint humming vibration that lingered for several moments before fading away.
One glance was enough to tell that this God-Striking Whip was no ordinary item.
Curious, Claire took the swaddled baby from Zane. His tiny face was almost translucent, delicate pink veins visible beneath the skin. A small tuft of dark newborn hair rested atop his head, making him look unbelievably adorable.
Perhaps it was the overwhelming instinct of motherhood, but Claire wasn’t frightened by him. in the slightest. He was light and quiet, his eyes tightly shut as his tiny mouth searched instinctively for something to eat.
She gently brought him to her breast. Immediately, the tiny mouth caught the scent of milk, found its target with uncanny precision, and began suckling eagerly.
Zane stepped in front of Claire, positioning himself perfectly to block Corvin’s view.
Corvin racked his brain, trying to figure out which beastfolk race could have a form like that. He hurriedly lifted a corner of the fur curtain and slipped outside.
Altair had been watching the whole time. Terrified that Corvin might notice him, he squeezed his eyes shut at lightning speed. Only after the footsteps faded into the distance did he slowly open them again.

As the fur curtain drifted shut, it left a gap no wider than a hand. Through that narrow opening, Altair caught sight of Claire lying on the bed. Her fair legs were bent against the mattress, while the beast hide covering her had slipped down to her waist.
Blood rushed straight to his head. He immediately turned away, not daring to look again.
“Zane, this little one is special. Let’s call him Skyrion. As for the others, we’ll let Rufus name them himself when he gets back.”
Zane nodded. His arm tightened around Claire, his fingertips turning white from how hard he was gripping.
“Alright. Marcus still hasn’t named any of his younglings either. I think we should let him decide for himself, too.” His voice was as gentle as a warm spring breeze, without the slightest hint of questioning where such a strange youngling had come from.
Claire lowered her gaze to Skyrion, who was full and content after nursing. A soft smile spread across her face.
The tiny Skyrion let out a little milk burp and opened his eyes.
His round, dark eyes looked exactly like those of any normal baby. He silently smiled at Claire before quickly drifting off to sleep.
Zane took Skyrion and laid him on the same wooden bed as the other younglings and eggs.
Corvin soon returned, clutching an old fur scroll tightly in his hands.
Brimming with excitement, he unrolled it and spread it open before Claire and Zane.
The figure that was drawn on the fur scroll was a bird with a human head, but this was its fully grown form. Its wings were broad and powerful, its talons razor-sharp, and the human face atop its body was strikingly handsome.
Pointing excitedly at the illustration, Corvin exclaimed, “This is the recorded ancient divine beast-Skyrion!”
His eyes sparkled, as though he had discovered a new world. He stared at Claire with burning intensity.
Yet both Claire and Zane remained surprisingly calm.
Zane said flatly, “I don’t care what he is. He’s Claire’s youngling. If you’re thinking of anything you shouldn’t…”
Corvin quickly waved his hands.

“How could I? This is a miracle! Claire, you’ve created a legend! If the other beastfolk found out, they’d probably worship you as a goddess! You might even stand alongside the Beast God himself!”
Claire shook her head.
“I don’t want that kind of attention. I just want to protect my younglings with my beast mates and watch them grow up safely.”
So what if he was Skyrion? He had still come from her womb.
She loved him exactly the same as every other youngling.
The excitement blazing inside Corvin seemed to cool. He took a deep breath and lowered his head, lost in thought.
Then, Claire let out another muffled groan.
“Another youngling is coming!”
Corvin immediately snapped out of it and caught the newborn in his arms.
This time, it was an ordinary fox cub.
But it had a third eye in the center of its forehead.
Compared to Skyrion, that hardly seemed surprising anymore.
“You’ve given birth to your 102nd beastling. Species: three-eyed mystic fox. Gender: Female. Level: 3. Reward: 7,000 cubic feet of living space.”
What followed was yet another flurry of smooth giving birth.
Far away in the vast blue sea, a gigantic humpback whale slowly rose to the surface.
On its back, a blue tail fin reflecting multicolored light gently patted the giant whale a few times.

The blue scales covering the tail shimmered with iridescent light, each one perfectly aligned.
Then the tail rose upright. Above it was the body of a man.
It was a breathtakingly alluring male body.
Where the tail met his torso, eight perfectly sculpted abs flowed in smooth lines, glistening beneath crystal-clear seawater.
Higher still, his broad chest was hidden behind long, damp blue hair that fell like ocean waves, concealing everything beneath it. Even so, it was easy to make out his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and the immense, untamed power radiating from him.
His head was slightly lowered. When he spoke, his voice was deep and resonant, as though it had drifted up from the bottom of the sea.
“Skyrion has entered the world. It seems the Beast World is about to descend into chaos!”
The giant whale answered with a thunderous cry. Its massive tail crashed against the sea, sending towering waves exploding across the water.
Then the whale slowly sank, taking the mysterious man down into the depths with it.
Deep within the Sacred Grounds of the eagle clan, surrounded by towering ancient trees, the sound of beating wings echoed from a pitch-black, bottomless cave.
The wingbeats grew closer. Soon, a figure burst into the light.
Covered in dirt and dust, Rufus clutched a wooden box tightly against his chest. A sword gleamed in his right hand while his wings beat furiously as he darted through the cave.
Roar!
A deafening bellow, like 100 war drums pounding at once, erupted behind him.
Rufus glanced back. Out of the darkness, a pair of massive claws burst toward him, followed by a terrifying creature in hot pursuit.
In only two breaths, it had closed the gap by more than 30 feet. Its enormous claw slashed straight at him.
“Come on! I only borrowed something from you! Do you really have to get this worked up?”
The giant claw swept just beneath his legs.

When the attack missed, the monster refused to give up. It chased him relentlessly until they reached an area lit by faint rays of light.
Only then did Rufus finally see what was behind him. It was a fully grown lava monster. Molten lava constantly streamed over its body, dripping onto the ground with sharp hissing sounds.
“You’re so stingy!” Rufus gasped, tightening his grip on the wooden box.
Inside was a treasure that had belonged to the eagle clan since ancient times. For countless generations, the lava monster had been its guardian. Over the years, it had come to think of the treasure as its own. Now it pursued Rufus with relentless fury, determined to reclaim it and slowly devour the little thief who had dared to trespass into its domain.
Suddenly, Rufus’s heart lurched. It felt as though a sword had pierced his chest. The pain stole his breath.
