Claire and Zane discussed the reason Ruby and her beast mates lived deep inside the forest.

“She probably doesn’t want anyone bothering her. Snake beastfolk are born as rogue beasts, and other beastfolk never truly accept them. From what I see, they live very freely there.” Zane said after thinking it through.

Claire nodded in agreement. They certainly lived without restraint. They had completely cast aside all shame and did not even wear hide skirts!
