There happened to be a flight leaving at 6:30 p.m.

By the time they arrived in the small town near where the suspect had disappeared, it was already 10 p.m.

After landing, they still had to drive another two hours to reach the area.

Nathan stared out the window, his expression heavy with worry.

Scarlett said nothing, only glanced at him.

He happened to turn at that moment, meeting her eyes.

There was more gratitude in his gaze than usual.

Scarlett looked away again.

The man was simply too handsome.
