Chapter 75 A Day at the Zoo
The livestream could even pick up the voices of the crew talking off camera.
[Wow, this kind of life feels amazing.]
Finished
[I just want a house with a yard. Plant some flowers, put up a wooden gazebo. At night, sit there, eat dinner, drink wine and admire the flowers. But I’m only 20, why do I already love retirement life? Is that normal?]
[Same here. I’m around 20 too, and I love this kind of life.]
[Sigh, everyone looks so happy eating together. Simon didn’t eat much, but he stayed with them. Only Zayden and Brianna are hiding in their room. Isn’t Scarlett going a bit too far? Dragging everyone to exclude them feels unnecessary.]
No one paid attention to the hater comment. The chat kept chatting about everyday life.
The crawfish was so good. In the end, the big pot was left with nothing but sauce.
They didn’t even waste that.
Someone cooked some pasta and mixed it with the sauce.
Even the pasta tasted amazing.
When everyone was almost done eating, Michael cleared his throat.
“Looks like everyone’s full,” he said. “Tomorrow will be the last day of Week Two. So I’m planning a small change. Tomorrow, no one needs to split up for work. You’ll all work at the zoo together. What do you
think?”
Work was work, no matter where it was.
No one objected.
Michael also had the crew ask Zayden and Brianna.
They agreed as well.
Michael clapped his hands. “Alright, then rest early tonight. Tomorrow morning, we head to the zoo.”
Only then did the livestream react.
[Why are all the guests going to the zoo tomorrow? I still want to watch Scarlett do psychic readings! I don’t have enough of this yet!]
[Same! I really want to see it too. I think that Callie thing was real. Mrs. Crawford even wired her over a million dollars. They just can’t say it out loud, since making it public wouldn’t be good for anyone.]
[Scarlett’s psychic readings are so interesting. I want more. She’s finally doing well at it; why not let her continue?]

Chapter 75 A Day at the Zoo
[I want to see Scarlett’s psychic readings and Simon’s abs.]
Finished
When Simon washed cars, he sometimes lifted his shirt to wipe sweat from his face and hands. You could clearly see his abs.
[Drooling! White hair plus abs is too good! Didn’t expect Simon to personally give us fan service!]
[Honestly, I really don’t want to watch Maswein Forest Zoo. I don’t get why all seven guests have to go there.]
[I live in Maswein. I’ve been there once. The environment is okay; they call it a forest park, but it’s really just a small hill fenced off with one tiger. The tiger is huge and super scary. We only saw it once behind glass, and it roared at us and lunged at the glass.
[There was also a white fox, but its fur was dirty, and it looked unhealthy. The other animals weren’t interesting either. Oh right, there’s a group of monkeys there too. Those monkeys are insanely annoying! Crying emoji]
[LOL, what did you even experience at that zoo?]
Early the next morning, the seven guests woke up, ate breakfast, and got into the van together.
They headed to Maswein Forest Zoo.
The zoo sat against rolling forested hills, but it wasn’t very large, only about ten to twelve acres.
There weren’t many types of wild animals inside.
There were tigers, brown bears, swans, hamsters, black bears, hippos, parrots, and a few other common animals.
Honestly, Michael had a personal reason for sending everyone to the zoo that day.
The zoo’s owner was his friend.
That friend had other businesses, but he was obsessed with wild animals. Years ago, he dreamed of traveling to overseas grasslands to see real wildlife.
A few years back, despite everyone trying to stop him, he leased this zoo.
All the money he made from his other businesses went straight into the zoo.
It lost money every single year.
If it weren’t for some government support, he would have lost everything he owned.
Even so, he refused to sell the zoo.
He said he had feelings for the animals there.
If he sold it to someone else, any new owner who couldn’t make money would cut food, cleaning, and care
costs.

In the end, the animals would be the ones who suffered.
Michael had no choice.
He hoped that giving the zoo more exposure would bring in visitors and help his friend.
If the losses continued like this, his friend’s wife might even divorce him.
Finished
[I really don’t want to watch the guests work at a zoo. What if they have to deal with poop and pee? They’re not going to make the guests clean animal waste, right?]
[Yeah. If there were Bear Cuscus, at least we could watch Bear Cuscus with the show’s cameras. I heard this zoo doesn’t have many animals anyway. The tiger is scary, and there are annoying monkeys that steal things!]
[I want to see Bear Cuscus too!]
[Why are you all so stuck on this? Since it’s Faces of the Crowd, what’s wrong with going to a zoo? Even if the guests have to clean animal waste, so what? The director might as well let all seven guests experience
it.]
