The Ultimate Reborn Heiress
Chapter 99 Finding Work
The smell alone was almost unbearable.
Nelson sniffed.
“What’s that smell? It’s amazing.”
“Gosh, it’s so good…”
Adam couldn’t help it either. He swallowed hard at the aroma.
The other guests followed suit, unable to resist.
Simon was the same. He was starving.
Why did he even agree to come on this ridiculous show?
Nelson seemed to realize something.
“This smell… I’ve smelled it before…”
It was familiar.
He opened Scarlett’s livestream on his phone.
Sure enough, Scarlett was cooking a pork stew.
Finished
The chat was flooded with slurping emojis and messages, all drooling over the food, saying they couldn’t die in peace until they tasted her cooking.
Nelson’s mouth watered.
“It really smells like Scarlett’s cooking. Wherever she goes, good food follows.”
Even though he knew Scarlett had gone to the town to prepare the pork stew, he didn’t dare shamelessly crash it.
They hadn’t realized that Scarlett had literally gone to help kill the pig so she could earn a seat at the feast.
The livestream chat was full of drooling, with no other commentary.
For now, all he could do was look at the pork stew on the screen and imagine tasting it.
On Scarlett’s side.
The final dish was done, and it was finally time to eat.
Including Scarlett and Selina, there were a dozen people, so the food was split across two tables.

Ethel and Victor had kind hearts.
Finished
They knew the crew filming Scarlett couldn’t appear on camera, so they carefully portioned out each dish and delivered it to them.
As they did so, Ethel whispered, “Make sure you all treat the girl well. You already forced her to kill the pig, so you shouldn’t make things hard for her.”
In her mind, Scarlett was still a child.
A child who could kill a pig!
The crew felt a bit guilty.
After filming Scarlett for two episodes, they really liked her.
They wouldn’t dare make things difficult for her–it was the director being unreasonable.
At the table, everyone finally started eating.
“How is this so good?”
“This intestine is so crisp and tender. Not a bit of gamey taste. Crunchy and delicious.”
“This dish is amazing. I’ve eaten pork stew all my life, but this is the best I’ve ever had!”
“My goodness, even when my grandson took me to those fancy five–star restaurants in the city, they can’t compare. This girl’s cooking is better than any of those places.”
Everyone couldn’t help but praise Scarlett again.
Selina was eating happily too.
While eating, Scarlett took the chance to ask, “Guys, do you know of any work around the town?
“Something short–term, about five days. The show wants us to find work to support ourselves this week, ideally with housing included. The crew didn’t provide anywhere for us to stay.”
Ethel’s heart softened immediately.
“Scarlett, Selina, don’t worry about finding work. Stay at my house for five days. I’ll take care of your meals and lodging. There’s an extra room anyway.”
Scarlett smiled. “Ma’am, that’s so kind, but if we break the rules, the show won’t allow it.”
Someone added, “Yes, you can’t break the rules. I heard breaking the rules could cost money.”
Ethel glared at the crew.
[Hahaha, looks like the old lady just gave the crew death glare.]
[The crew was like, ‘So unfair! It’s the director being unreasonable!‘]
