Chapter 304
“The other document is for her shares. I’ve had everything transferred into your name. Once you sign, you’ll officially be a shareholder of The Blair Group. You can get involved in anything related to the company now.”
As he spoke, Nathalie couldn’t help staring at him, her eyes filled with disbelief.
He actually put Camilla in a psychiatric hospital?
Nathalie looked down at the medical report in her hand and just felt numb. None of this made any sense. It all felt so unreal.
So this was his solution? Push all the blame onto Camilla?
And now he was offering up the shares as a peace offering, hoping she’d be willing to let things go?
A mess of conflicting feelings tangled up inside her, but one thing
Nathalie knew for sure: there was absolutely no happiness here. Not even a flicker.
She never could have guessed Daniel would go this far.
After being married to Camilla for decades, he’d just tossed her aside like she didn’t matter.
Nathalie didn’t take the folder. Instead, her voice was icy as she asked, “What about Felice?”
Daniel’s gaze flickered away. “She’s been with The Blair Family for so many years. I don’t want to do anything to her. She’ll stay quietly at The Adams Family from now on. Nathalie, just… pretend she’s not there, okay?”
So he was just going to let Felice get away with everything?
“What if I refuse to let her off that easy?” Nathalie replied, a thin, sarcastic smile playing on her lips.

“She’s only an adopted daughter, but you two gave up so much for her,” she added, her tone mocking. Still, she couldn’t help that bitter voice inside her head whispering, If something happened to me, what would they do? Throw a party? Maybe they’d finally get some peace and quiet. They could pour all their love into Felice and stop pretending to care about me.
Daniel’s face tightened with frustration. “Nathalie, she’s been quiet lately. She hasn’t done anything else to hurt you. Why can’t you just leave her alone?”
“I can’t,” Nathalie answered coldly. “Why should she get off scot–free when I’m expected to just forget everything? What about the hurt I went through? Am I supposed to be fine with it? I don’t forgive that easily. After everything she’s put me through, letting her go was never an option.”
The entire room seemed to shift with her energy, her presence sharper than ever. She could see the way Daniel looked at her, like she was turning into someone he didn’t even recognize anymore.
Nathalie was never like this–not before. She used to be spoiled and a little demanding, but she was attached to them. She would act cute and hug them, mess around and laugh. Now, it felt like she’d become a stranger, as if they were enemies, not family.
Daniel let out a sigh that sounded tired and heavy. “So what do you want to do?”
“I want to cut all ties with Felice,” Nathalie said, her voice firm.
Daniel frowned harder. “That’s… that’s not really fair. She’s lived with us for so many years.”
“She’s just the start. If you can’t even do this, why do you think you have the right to ask me to let The Blair Group go?” she replied.
Nathalie stood and turned to leave. After a few steps, she paused and added, “And I want Camilla to apologize to my grandmother. Don’t think

hiding in a mental hospital means she can dodge responsibility.”
Daniel’s face fell into a deep scowl. Nathalie met his eyes and pressed on. “You’re really protective of Felice. What… is she your illegitimate daughter or something?”
