No sooner said than done, the energetic girl bounced out of bed and threw on some clothes.

She hopped into her little Beetle and started driving toward Lumina Grand.

The weather wasn't great today; the sky was heavily overcast, looking like it could pour rain at any second.

Damaris was a steady driver and quickly arrived at the gates of Lumina Grand. The security guard stopped her, requiring her to sign in and provide identification.

She got out of her car and walked over to the clipboard.

At that exact moment, a sleek luxury car pulled up right next to her.

Aaron was just turning his head to speak to the man in the backseat when his eyes landed on Damaris, who was standing at the guardhouse with her head down, signing the logbook.

Was she here to see the missus?

Aaron quickly checked the rearview mirror and saw Lawrence leaning back with his eyes closed, resting. He clearly hadn't noticed her yet.

Lawrence had been glued to the security footage for days and still hadn't found the car he was looking for. He had thrown a massive fit, screaming and demanding to see Lance.

Aaron had requested permission from his boss and had just gotten the green light to bring him over.

He never imagined they would run straight into Damaris at the front gate!

Aaron immediately shifted gears and steered the car sharply in a different direction.

Lawrence opened his eyes at the sudden movement. He had been awake for several nights straight, and his bloodshot eyes were causing him a lot of discomfort. "Are we there yet?" he grumbled.

"Almost," Aaron replied smoothly. "You can rest your eyes a little longer."

He steered the car with one hand while furiously typing a message to Lance with the other.
