Chapter 771
“Shameless…”
Damaris cursed under her breath, her voice ragged as she listened to
him.
“Baby, you’re blushing. It’s so cute-it just makes me want you more.” Lawrence pulled her into his arms, stepping into the elevator.
The moment the doors slid shut, his lips crashed down on hers. His breathing was heavy, the kiss frantic and hungry, as if he were trying to make up for all the days they’d spent apart in a single moment.
He pinned her against the cold steel of the elevator wall. She flinched, shoving against his shoulders with all her might, but his physical dominance was absolute. She couldn’t budge him an inch.
Eventually, her strength bled away. Her lips went numb under his demanding mouth, completely overwhelmed by his predatory rhythm.
He was relentless-fervent and urgent, claiming her completely, not even caring that they hadn’t made it out of the elevator.
Damaris gripped his shoulders, her fingers gripping him so tightly they left angry red marks on his skin.
But the resistance only seemed to fuel Lawrence’s excitement. He kissed her harder, leaving a trail of dark, bruised marks across her luminous
skin.

It was a suffocating, world-tilting two hours.
Utterly drained from the aftermath of their time together, Damaris lay limply against the mattress. Lawrence pressed immensely satisfied kisses down her spine, murmuring “baby” between each one.
Afterward, he carried her into the bathroom to bathe her.

Chapter 771
Damaris lifted heavy eyelids, her gaze dropping to the bandages wrapped around his torso. The thick white gauze was already seeping with
crimson.
He hadn’t held back, and the sheer exertion had torn his wound wide
open.
Serves him right!
I hope it hurts like hell.
Bleed out, for all I care.
Damaris thought bitterly to herself. She didn’t spare him a second glance, just squeezed her eyes shut.
Lawrence watched her, a dark intensity swelling in his striking blue eyes.
“Baby, I’m hurt. Aren’t you worried about me?” He leaned in, brushing a kiss over her swollen lips.
She turned her head away. “I’m counting down the seconds until you drop
dead.”
“That breaks my heart.” Unfazed, Lawrence pressed closer, his tone suffocatingly affectionate. “I missed you so much. I was going out of my mind missing you, baby. I love you.”
Damaris scoffed. “You don’t know the first thing about love.”
Lawrence didn’t care about her icy words. As long as she was here by his side, nothing else mattered.
He fully believed that sooner or later, she would fall for him.
“Baby, I got you a present. Get some rest for now. When you wake up, I’ll take you to see it.” Lawrence’s hands wandered possessively over her
curves.
