“She didn’t say anything. Camille, stop making things difficult for Winona’s family.”
Camille scoffed. “What do you know? You’re so clueless. I’ve told you countless times to spend less time on women and more on your work. But whatever, you never listen to me anyway.” She didn’t intend to drag it out. “I’m busy. If you want to transfer Helena back, then go ahead. Do as you please.”
With that, Camille hung up.
Yulen informed the director of the decision and then returned to Winona. “Helena will be back at the main hospital starting tomorrow. No one will dare to give her a hard time again.”
Since he had helped Helena, Winona allowed him to stay for dinner.
Seeing them getting along so well, Nikita’s appetite improved.
After the meal, Winona said to Yulen, “I’m going to wait for Helena to get back before I leave. You can go home first.”
Because Camille had been the one to cause Helena trouble, Yulen didn’t try to force her to leave with him as he usually would have. Instead, he said gently, “Alright. I’ll wait for you to come home.”
After Yulen left, Nikita turned to Winona. “Winona, I can see that Yulen still cares deeply for you. You two should think about having a child soon. Maybe that would give your marriage something to hold onto.”
Winona gave a bitter smile. A child? She and Yulen would never have another child.

Corin took the morning off. While he was away, Wren and Eloise were copying files from his computer when they discovered a file had been deleted.
Wren looked puzzled. “Strange, this data was here the day before yesterday.”
Eloise frowned. “Who used Corin’s computer yesterday?”
Winona sat down and turned on her computer, completely ignoring them. “If you have no proof, then don’t disturb my work. I’m not your designated scapegoat.”
Wren and Eloise were powerless against her and could only go complain to Nolan.
Nolan checked the security footage and confirmed that only Winona had used Corin’s computer the day before. He told them, “We won’t know what she did on his computer or if she deleted anything until Corin gets back this afternoon. You two can leave for now.”
When Corin returned to the office that afternoon, he found his colleagues gossiping about Winona. “What deleted data?” he asked Wren.
Wren explained what had happened, adding indignantly, “And you trusted her so much yesterday! Then she turns around and stabs you in the back. That woman is truly malicious!”
Corin frowned. “It couldn’t have been Winona. But it’s fine. After what happened to Tallulah’s computer, I took a precaution and installed an Endpoint Detection and Response system. It monitors all file system calls in real-time. If critical data is abnormally deleted, the EDR immediately triggers an alarm and records the process chain. Just a minute, let me check.”
Hearing Corin’s words, Tallulah nervously took a sip of water.
