The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 361

Winona ignored her.

Finding no satisfaction, Karina scoffed, got into her car, and honked aggressively at the Goddard Manor gates.

The security cameras scanned her license plate, and the massive wrought-iron gates slowly swung open.

Karina shot a triumphant smirk in Winona’s direction before driving through. Just moments after her car cleared the entrance, the gates clamped shut again.

Winona stood by the entrance, continuing to wait for Roxana.

Just then, Steward Sinclair emerged from the estate and approached her. "Ms. Jowett, Margaret has made it clear. You will not be seeing Mr. Goddard. I suggest you head back."

"I think he'll want to see me," Winona replied evenly.

Seeing she wasn't going to budge, Sinclair's gaze turned sharp. "Ms. Jowett, we're giving you the courtesy of leaving with your dignity intact. Don't make this difficult for yourself."

Behind him, four or five burly bodyguards stepped forward, their expressions hostile.

Winona checked her phone. Still no reply from Roxana. She hesitated, wondering if she should leave for now and find another opportunity to see Stefan.

At that moment, Linda walked out from behind the gates, her voice carrying an unquestionable authority. "Steward Sinclair, Violet has invited Ms. Jowett inside."

Sinclair's face tightened. Despite his obvious displeasure, he didn't dare defy the matriarch's orders. He could only watch in silence as Linda escorted Winona inside.

Getting her first real look at the Goddard Manor, Winona was stunned.

The grounds were as expansive as a public park. Winding stone paths weaved through the landscape, meticulously arranged with ancient pines and lush bamboo. Intricately carved walkways stretched over pristine water features, every detail exuding the quiet, historical wealth of a century-old dynasty.

They got into a sleek golf cart and drove along the paved path for several minutes before stopping in front of a stunning, standalone villa.

As Winona stepped out, Linda explained, "This is Stefan's private residence."
