Winona let out a harsh laugh. "Three million? Do I look stupid to you, Camille? Do you think I don't know market value?"

Camille scoffed coldly. "You know perfectly well the nature of your relationship with Yulen. You don't have any legal standing to hold onto those shares long-term."

Winona kept her nonchalant expression. "Fine. Then let's take it to court. It'll be a great opportunity to let the whole world know how Yulen faked a marriage to manipulate me. My reputation isn't the one that's going to suffer."

"You—!" Camille took a deep, steadying breath. "What exactly do you want?"

"I just want to sell the shares at market price. I couldn't care less who buys them. You have money, Camille. You're more than welcome to buy them yourself."

Camille was suffocating on her own rage, but she had no outlet for it. She had sacrificed too much for the company to let a scandal tear it down now. Whether she wanted to or not, she had to buy that two percent.

She pulled out her checkbook. "Fine. I'll buy it."

"I consulted a professional," Winona said smoothly. "Two percent of the Locke Group is worth at least 120 million. And I don't want a check, Camille. I want a direct wire transfer."

Camille was a VIP at her bank, meaning massive wire transfers didn't require lengthy approvals. But the thought of handing Winona that much cash was physically painful.

"120 million is absurd. I'll give you 50 million, max."

Winona smiled. "Then I guess I'll just have to sell to someone else."
