The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 356

Tallulah truly believed she knew how to love him better than Winona ever could. Therefore, she was the one who rightfully belonged by Yulen's side.

Yulen was practically carried to the bed. Even though Tallulah was heavily pregnant and clumsy, she personally changed him into his pajamas and wiped his face with a warm towel.

Staring down at his handsome features, her heart fluttered all over again. This was her man. The father of her child. There was no way in hell she was going to hand him back to Winona.

Suddenly, the sleeping man let out a soft, hazy murmur. "Winona... stop making a fuss..."

Tallulah froze. The name hit her like a physical blow, turning the blood in her veins to ice.

She loved him so fiercely, sacrificed so much for him—why was he calling out another woman's name in his sleep?

The next morning, Yulen woke up surprisingly refreshed, entirely devoid of the usual crushing hangover. He noticed he was wearing fresh pajamas.

Assuming Winona had taken care of him, he opened his mouth to call her name—until he registered the unfamiliar layout of the bedroom.

A sudden, inexplicable wave of emptiness washed over him.

Tallulah walked into the room, supporting her lower back. "Yulen, breakfast is ready."

She didn't miss the flash of disappointment in his eyes. Her hands curled into tight fists at her sides.

Yulen snapped out of his daze and nodded. "Right. Let me grab a shower first."

During breakfast, Tallulah looked across the table. "I booked appointments at two premium postpartum care centers today. If you have time, do you want to come look at them with me?"

Yulen frowned slightly. "Didn't we already hire four maternity nurses for the house? You can just recover at home. A care center probably won't be as comfortable as our own place."

Tallulah absolutely refused to do her postpartum recovery at the Locke Villa. Having to look at Willow's judgmental face every day while dealing with hormones would definitely push her into postpartum depression.
