Seeing that Natalie was about to leave with the child, Hassan walked over, his body slightly blocking her path. "We need to talk."

Natalie, however, put on a perfectly distant facade. "Mr. Carlson, I think you should focus on spending time with your son. I'd rather not get a reputation for throwing myself at you."

The parents who had witnessed the previous commotion were already looking their way.

If Hassan were to leave with Natalie now, Gardenia and Adrian would be the ones left humiliated.

She stared at him calmly.

After a moment, Hassan lowered his eyes. "Go ahead."

Natalie wasn't surprised by his choice in the slightest. Whenever Gardenia and Adrian were involved, he would never choose anyone else.

She laughed bitterly to herself. If this was how it was going to be, why did he even marry her in the first place?

She left with Mia, Jude following closely behind.

It wasn't long before the three of them reached the parking area outside the school.

She saw Hassan walk out, with Gardenia and Adrian trailing slightly behind him. He walked in front, keeping a small distance between them.

She paused for a second, then looked away and pulled open her car door to get in.

Jude proactively pulled open the passenger door of his own car and patted his thigh, looking at Mia. "Come on, sit on my lap."

Mia clenched both her hands into little fists. She kind of wanted to, but she also didn't. He had just called her an idiot and hadn't even bought her anything to make up for it. She wasn't ready to forgive him yet.

Natalie shot Jude a sideways glance. "I didn't invite you into my car. Didn't you drive yourself?"

It wasn't hard to tell that the most expensive, flashy car in the lot belonged to Jude Sheridan.

He ignored Natalie, patting his pockets in search of something to coax the kid with.

All he pulled out was a lighter, a pack of cigarettes, and a pair of lace panties some woman had shoved into his pocket.

He deliberately picked them up, glanced at Hassan in the distance, and asked Natalie with a sleazy smirk, "What kind of reaction would Hassan have if you wore these? Would he not be able to keep his hands off you?"

A wave of disgust washed over her. "You can try them on yourself and find out."

Jude wasn't offended in the slightest. He chuckled lightly. "Oh, I almost forgot. He did tell me once that sleeping with you for four years couldn't compare to one night with Gardenia."

Hassan's gaze swept over to Jude as well.

Jude raised a hand and smiled, raising his eyebrows.

"I'll have my assistant come pick you up," Hassan said.

Gardenia grabbed his sleeve. "I... I'm scared. I'm really terrified of him."

Sitting in the passenger seat, Natalie's expression was freezing. She pulled at the handle to get out, but the door was locked.

Hassan spoke up. "Zeke is already on his way. He'll take you to the new house. You can take a look and see if you need to buy anything else for it."

He shut the door and drove off.

As he drove, he glanced over at Natalie. "Why were you standing so close to Jude just now?"

She glared at him coldly. "Me, close to him? What, are you going to accuse me of cheating now too?"

"Natalie, stay away from him," he said, his voice icy.
