After retrieving the report, Aaron walked alongside Jamie down the corridor. Suddenly, glancing through the sparse crowd, he spotted someone in the distance who looked exactly like Suzie.

"Mr. Baylor!" Aaron quickly pulled his boss into the stairwell. "I just saw Ms. Sterling. I'm worried she's here to pick up a test result, too."

Jamie frowned but didn't say a word. He simply tore open the envelope right there in the stairwell.

Keeping an eye on the crack in the door to see if Suzie would walk by, Aaron kept stealing glances at his boss. He didn't see any sign of relief or happiness on Jamie's face. Instead, as he stood there gripping the documents, his expression turned incredibly heavy.

"What's wrong, sir?" Aaron whispered.

Jamie was silent for a long time before his voice finally echoed quietly in the space. "The test shows she's not a Lockwood."

Aaron was stunned. This was an outcome he absolutely hadn't anticipated. He had hired professionals to discreetly obtain the DNA samples from the Lockwood family and Suzie. There shouldn't have been any mistakes.

Furthermore, Jamie had already pointed out that the necklaces worn by Chloe and Suzie were identical. If it were something mass-produced, a coincidence would be understandable. But the necklace was a custom design with no trace of its origins, and both women had worn it since childhood.

"Could this be like the test with the kids? Did something go wrong during the process?" Aaron couldn't help but ask.

Jamie shook his head. "The circumstances are different. In a few days, I want you to personally go to the hospital where Margaret used to work. Use money, use leverage, use whatever means necessary to track down the staff from that time and interrogate them one by one."
