Chapter 9
Aaron tossed the phone to Bruce and Clark. Looking confused, they unlocked the phone.
The next second, both Bruce’s and Clark’s expressions changed.
This phone contained evidence of every evil act Lucy had ever done.
It started from the day she first moved in, when she deliberately destroyed her own toys, tricking everyone into thinking I was to blame and turning their anger on me. It went on until three days ago, when she continued framing me by deliberately giving me the allergen.
Every video captured how my brothers harshly scolded me while Lucy’s laughter rang in the background.
Clark instantly delivered a kick to Lucy’s face, his eyes red as he shouted, “You were the reason we misunderstood Victoria for this long? Don’t forget, she’s the reason you were able to come to our family! Why would you do this? Why?”
Blood ran down Lucy’s mouth as her gaze turned sharp. She glared at her brothers and declared, “So what? Yes, I framed her, but it was just to get your affection! Is that so wrong? Weren’t you the ones who killed her in the end? I don’t get it. Why are you taking out your anger on me?”
The three brothers panicked at once, their anger all gone.
Lucy glared at Aaron and continued, “All I wanted was your affection. But what did you do? You locked Victoria in the cellar and forgot about her at once. Even if she made it through those three days, the trauma alone could’ve broken her completely.
“”
Aaron collapsed to the ground, utterly defeated. He covered his face and burst into tears.
Lucy then turned to Bruce and Clark. “You are all accomplices to murder. Just you wait. The law will punish you!”
Bruce and Clark dropped to the ground, sobbing their hearts out.
As Lucy took in their reactions, a victorious look flashed across her face.
Before she could revel in her triumph, Aaron rushed forward and grabbed her by the neck. Bruce grabbed a hammer and slammed it onto her head, while Clark bit down hard on her neck.
Lucy was killed instantly by her brothers.
Gazing at the urn brought out by the maid, the brothers couldn’t bring themselves to accept the reality. They chose to take
their own lives.
Once their spirits slipped free, every restraint that had bound me vanished as well.
Initially, they were terrified, but after seeing me, they excitedly bounded toward me, intending to apologize for their actions.
Yet, a strange form held them firmly in place.
I couldn’t help but recall something. When I was young, after my parents’ death, the company was on the brink of collapse. Countless executives were eying my family’s fortune.
As my brothers’ Achilles’ heel, I was constantly targeted by others.
Once, I was abducted by a bunch of kidnappers.
