Too Good for You The Ex-Wife You Lost novel Chapter 214

They were leaving Emberfield tomorrow.

When Noelle tried to simply pack up, Hunter immediately stepped forward to help. Noelle sighed helplessly. "Hunter, I'm more than capable of packing up by myself. Besides, I don't really have much, so I'll be done in no time."

Hunter folded her clothes neatly and put them into a bag. "No. I'm taking responsibility for every aspect of your life. You just focus on preparing for the competition. I won't let anything distract you."

Noelle was utterly speechless.

Clearly, he was the one affecting her the most.

Ever since she agreed to be his girlfriend, his passion had skyrocketed. It was so bad she couldn't even get a good night's sleep.

As she was thinking this, Noelle heard hurried footsteps and hushed chatter going on nonstop outside.

She opened the door and saw a bunch of team members heading upstairs to watch the commotion.

She grabbed someone casually to ask, "What's going on?"

The other person grinned. "I heard that a young lady from the Quinn family came to deliver some supplies to Mr. Haberkorn. She said she wanted to have a chat with him. She's been waiting outside his door for a while now, and she's even trying to contact him now!"

As he spoke, he spotted Hunter inside Noelle's room and instantly shrank back. "I see. Mr. Haberkorn was with you, Ms. Quinn. No wonder no one opened the door even after that young lady knocked on it for so long.

Noelle shot Hunter a sharp glare, feeling a surge of exasperation.

Sarah came to deliver supplies so late at night and went straight to knock on Hunter's door.

Anyone would know what she was up to.

Hunter immediately put on a serious expression, worried that Noelle would get angry. "I have no idea why she came. I don't even know her. In fact, I don't even remember her name."

Seeing how anxious he looked, Noelle wanted to laugh.

She kept a stern face. "You don't even remember her name, yet she managed to find which hotel you're in and even your room number. She knows you have a girlfriend, and still personally comes to deliver supplies. Hunter, I didn't expect your charm to be this strong."

Hunter's face darkened. He called Juned. "Kick that woman out of the hotel. Throw out everything she brought. A team I'm sponsoring doesn't need anything from her!"

After hanging up, he looked at Noelle earnestly. "Honey, you heard me. I had her sent away. She won't be bothering us."

Noelle raised an eyebrow.

She hadn't expected Hunter to be cold-hearted enough to throw someone out without any regard for courtesy.

She smirked slightly. "She's your brother's date. Aren't you afraid the Haberkorn family will cause trouble for you if you kick her out like that?"

Honestly, Sarah probably had a screw loose.

She'd only met Hunter once and was already rushing over so eagerly. It was as if she wasn't afraid people would know what was on her mind.
