The next day, Noelle, disguised as Lucy, met Asher in a coffeehouse.
The moment Asher saw her, his eyes lit up. "Ms. Lucy, I've been looking for you for ages and haven't heard any news of you. Without Mr. Hamilton's help, I wouldn't have been able to meet you so quickly.
Sitting opposite him, Noelle's expression was very indifferent. "Out with it. Why did you specifically ask to see me through Mr. Hamilton?"
Her indifference didn't bother Asher the least. After all, Lucy had never been friendly to anyone.
Whipping out the proposal he had already prepared, he replied, "This is our project with the Clarkson family. Although they have withdrawn, we can't give up, or all of our effort will be in vain. That's why I've been regrouping funds and planning to get the project up and about again."
Noelle arched her brows in puzzlement. "And how is all this related to me?"
Embarrassed, Asher rubbed his palms together. "I guess you've heard from Mr. Hamilton that Lola, the Quake who was with me before, was actually an impostor.
"She wasn't Quake and was just trying to con others using Quake's name. I was unaware of this back then and even used Quake's name for publicity."
He took a deep breath. "Even though the fake Quake is gone, the buzz and pitches we created are still active. Therefore, we would like to invite you as a consultant to take part in our factory's events. That will add to our strengths."
Despite getting his idea, Noelle didn't give him the nod right away. Instead, she asked with interest, "Are you asking me to attend as Lucy, or do you want me to claim to be Quake again, just like the last time?"
Instantly, Asher explained, "Just attend as yourself, Ms. Lucy. Your skills are unparalleled. Even after Lola assumed their identity for so long, the real Quake hasn't shown up. Maybe Quake wants to stay out of such issues.
"However, we are still able to create a new legend, with or without Quake."
Asher was confident of his marketing ability. "With your strength, you are guaranteed to become a legend in the new generation who could surpass Quake."
Finally, Noelle nodded in understanding after listening to him. "Send the project details to my email. I'll look into them once I'm free. If that's all, I'm leaving now."
"Hold on, Ms. Lucy."
Anxiously, Asher stopped her. "I've always wanted to ask this. Are you actually Quake?"
She was so skilled that she drove the Moriane car companies hopping mad. Furthermore, she was about the same age as the legendary Quake.

Picking up her bag, she rose to her feet. "My schedule is packed. Unless it's necessary, I won't meet you again."
With that, she left with an easy, unbridled poise, looking like a fearless eagle, and this was exactly what Asher liked in Lucy—the confidence she had.
He was so blind in the past, mistaking an imposter for the real deal. When Lucy and Lola showed up in his social circle at the same time, he only fell for Lola's lies.
That was why he was irritated whenever he thought of Lola.

"Yes, Mr. Miller."
His subordinate left to follow Noelle. However, he called Asher in less than ten minutes. "Mr. Miller, we lost her."
Asher exploded with anger. "All of you are useless!"
