Chapter 846 A Steamy Reunion

Matthew had no clue how to operate the water heater, so Zachary ended up going in with him. The moment they stepped through the door, before it even fully closed behind them, Zachary was suddenly shoved back against the wall.
“Mmph… the door…” Zachary tried to speak, but his mouth was otherwise occupied, so he could only gesture in urgency.
Without hesitation, Matthew swung the door shut. It snapped into place with a clean click.
“Lock it… Lock the door…”
The cold tiles pressed sharply into Zachary’s back, making him flinch. He tried to pull away, but Matthew immediately closed the distance again, keeping him trapped.
Matthew kissed him messily, with no clear direction, as if he couldn’t settle on what he wanted to focus on. His hands didn’t stay still for a second–gripping, dragging, pulling him closer, then biting lightly in between.
It was the kind of kiss that felt like he wanted to consume him completely.
Zachary pressed his lips tight, swallowing back any sound as best as he could. He rushed to turn on the shower, letting the loud water spray drown out anything else.
Matthew stayed right against him, lightly biting along the side of his neck as if trying to soothe him in his own way, his breath warm as he leaned in close. “Let’s just shower together.”
Before Zachary could even refuse, they were already under the spray. The sudden blast of cold water made him jerk violently. He slapped Matthew’s shoulder. “It’s freezing!”
“I’ll adjust it.”
When Zachary finally stepped out of the bathroom, Jaden hadn’t moved from the couch and was still glued to the cartoons playing on the screen, completely absorbed after watching a few more episodes. The sight of the little boy so deeply focused made Zachary quietly exhale in relief.
