Chapter 215
“Looking for this?” He held up the stun gun and let out a low chuckle.
Elizabeth pushed past them, her composure returning now that her reinforcements had arrived. She pointed at me, her hand trembling with fury. “Do not spare her. Shove all the pills down her throat and make sure you get the aftermath on video. Riley, let us get out of here.”
Riley was struggling to her feet, her face swollen, her eyes glassy. She looked at me with something that might have been hatred or might have been shame. It was hard to tell through the bruise blooming on her cheek.
“You will never forget this lesson,” Elizabeth said, and she turned toward the door with Riley following close behind.
I balled my fists and dropped into a fighting stance, my weight distributed evenly, my knees bent, my hands up. Pat and I had spent time learning judo because she had a crush on the instructor and had dragged me along for moral support. I had never used those skills in a real fight before but muscle memory is a strange thing and my body remembered what my mind was still trying to process. The six men began to circle around me, their footsteps slow and deliberate, their eyes hungry, and I prepared myself for the worst.
And then the front door exploded inward.
It disconnected from its hinges completely, the wood splintering, the frame cracking, and it flew across the room like it had been launched from a cannon. Elizabeth and Riley barely had time to throw themselves backward to avoid being crushed. The six men turned as one, their attention ripped away from me, and two figures rushed through the ruined doorway.
I recognized them immediately. Dominic’s bodyguards. The same two men he had assigned to follow me.
My heart leapt into my throat. I had never felt more grateful toward anyone in my entire life.
The bodyguards took in the scene in a single sweeping glance, their eyes cataloging every detail, every threat, every exit. They moved into the center of the room, their stances perfect, their hands loose at their sides.
“Bring all six men to their knees,” I said.
They did not hesitate.
The fight lasted less than two minutes. The bodyguards moved like they had been fighting together for years, their coordination seamless, their strikes precise. Punches landed. Kicks connected. Bones cracked. The man holding my stun gun tried to use it on one of the bodyguards but the bodyguard ducked and the stun gun connected with another man’s chest instead, sending him convulsing to the floor. The man holding my pepper spray tried the same tactic but the second bodyguard caught his wrist and twisted it until the bone broke with an audible snap, then tore the pepper spray from his limp fingers.
take sure every single one of them swallows every pill.”
he bodyguards exchanged a glance, then nodded. One of them handed me my pepper spray and stun gun without a word and 1 ok them, slipping them into my bag Then they got to work, gathering the pills, counting them out, forcing them down the iroats of the men who were too beaten to resist.

The readers' comments on the novel: Two Can Play (Celeste and Dominic)
Agent Frost better teach Tasha how to protect herself if anything gets out of hand or if she’s ever in danger or forced again...
I need some good news for Tasha. Special Agent hear her out and don’t let her get back into that life. Do I hear a romance or someone Tasha can truly count on besides Scarlett??...
I hope Tasha is let off and helped by this detective and gets away from all this maybe a twist for this novel is she gets on the good side of things and gets away from that life completely even if she has to separate herself from Scarlett but it appears Tasha gets hurt by Scarlett’s and sparrow’s stupidity as she’s blamed for Scarlett’s decisions...
Her life is ruined and Scarlett’s been living a luxurious life through it all...
I officially hate everyone for hurting Tasha and allowing things to happen to her. This whole Sparrow and Scarlett situation is some BS....
It’s a bit stupid that as powerful and ruthless sparrow is he and Scarlett sure do a lousy job of protecting and having guard on Tasha. Like how did all of this happen to her if he was supposed to be protecting her based on the contract??...
More Chapters Please...
I thought it said 10 chapters a day??? It’s been like 2-3 days and no update after chapter 574. The release time is so inconsistent, I have started to just loose interest....
Just find Tasha and get her some help. How did she have sparrow’s men watching her if she really cared so much. Scarlett’s character is so suspect…...
Storyline is interesting it’s just so much sexual content I have to skip through just find out the main context of the story....
