"I don't need your help!" After Emmett spat those words, he turned to leave. Taylor was quick to follow.

"Emmett! Did you hear what I just said? Do you really doubt Clara?"

Emmett turned his head, shooting him a glance. "Stop fussing over Clara. She's my wife, not yours."

His patience with Taylor had reached its boiling point.
