Leah returned her grip, smiling gently, "I'll listen to you. I'll respect your wishes."

Clara looked up at the grand mansion. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts.

Not to mention how her relationship with Emmett had turned out. The uncertainty of the future was terrifying.

"Revenge on you? Hmm, why would I do that? Are you worth my time? Coming back here is what you should do as Mrs. Melendez!"

Emmett spoke and then, disregarding her discomfort, walked into the mansion.

Clara hesitated, standing still and not following him.
