The servants exchanged glances, hesitated, and then finally said, "She... she's been sent to clean the toilets by the butler. She should be there now."

"I told you to get her! Didn't you understand?" There was a menacing glint in Emmett's eyes.

The servants nodded quickly. "Yes, Master! We'll get her right away!"

After they left, Emmett noticed a hangover remedy by his door. He had a vague recollection of Leah bringing it to him last night. His memory was hazy due to the excessive drinking.

Similarly, his memory of his intimate moments with Clara was also fuzzy. He couldn't tell if it was real or just a figment of his imagination.

Clara was brought in a while later.
