"Umm... you, you really like Emmett that much?"

"Do you think? I have to marry him! It has to be him!"

"Oh... so that's it, you're so devoted to him! Well, why don't you talk to Emmett? Because divorce doesn't happen just because I say so! Emmett has to agree too."

Hearing this, Molly Parrott immediately figured she was just being fobbed off.

And out of nowhere, she pulled out a knife!

Clara's heart skipped a beat…

Was she going to meet her maker right here today?

"Ms Parrott! Cool your jets! How about this, I'll call Emmett over, okay? And then I'll definitely convince him to fall for you and marry you! Don't worry, I'm absolutely gonna agree to the divorce, no strings attached!"

Molly Parrott seemed a bit torn after hearing this, but at least she seemed to ease up a bit.

But then the next second, she switched gears again!

"You think I'm a dummy, huh? You're calling Emmett to rescue you, right? To whisk you away! Seeing me like this, Emmett's not gonna fall for me!"

“Well then, let go of me! And we can sit quietly in the office, and I'll call Emmett over, okay?"

"No way! You have to get a divorce from Emmett yourself! Right now!"

"Okay, okay! I'll do as you say!"

She had no choice but to comply!

She had to get out of this safely and see Alex, she couldn't lose her life here all because of Emmett!

"Well, you have to let go of me, right? How am I gonna call Emmett otherwise, right?"

Molly Parrott looked at her, half in doubt, thought for a while, and finally let go.

"I'm going to change my clothes!" Molly Parrott seemed to light up at the news, even cracking a hint of an excited smile! But then she stopped short, "Just so you know, don't you dare cross me! Or else, you'll regret it!"

"Okay, don't worry!"

As Clara was dealing with her, Ricardo walked in from outside, looking confused.

"Why is it so quiet today? Where's everyone outside? Don't the security guards have work to do?" Halfway in, Ricardo noticed Clara and Molly Parrott together and was taken aback, "Ms Calloway? What are you doing here?"

Or rather, he was more curious about why she was with Molly Parrott!

Molly Parrott had been hounding Mr. Melendez like a madwoman for a while now, even starting to act a bit crazy!
