Watch a Billionaire Shatter for the Woman He Betrayed novel Chapter 4

Leilani pulled her arm from Preston's grip and walked upstairs.

Preston frowned, watching her figure disappear around the corner before finally pulling his gaze away. He turned to Sienna. "There's an auction in Capital City tomorrow. The lead organizer is my cousin, Naomi. She's hosting a get-together at the club tonight to calm her nerves before the big day."-

"I want to go too!" Sienna practically chirped.

Preston's brow furrowed slightly. "It's not appropriate."

Sienna stomped her foot and let out a dramatic, childish huff. "Fine! Then I'll go to a bar and drink by myself!"

With that, she scooped up the dog and ran out the door.

Preston didn't go after her. He sat down in the living room, replaying Leilani's behavior in his mind.

Something felt off about her today.

Could she have found out about him and Sienna?

Impossible.

If she knew, she would have thrown a massive fit by now.

Frustrated, Preston rubbed his temples. He figured she was probably just upset that he had bailed on visiting her father's grave that morning.

He decided he would just buy her a few extra pieces of jewelry at the auction tomorrow to make up for it.

Leilani didn't come downstairs until the early evening.

Seeing Preston alone in the living room made the space feel a little less suffocating. "Are we ready to go?"

Preston nodded quickly. He met her at the bottom of the stairs, attentively picked up her white coat, and helped her into it, signing: *It's snowing and freezing outside. Bundle up so you don't catch a cold.*

Leilani let him hold her hand as he guided her to the car, and they rode in silence to the club.

After greeting Naomi, Leilani retreated to a quiet corner, just as she always did.

She took small sips of her juice, quietly watching everyone else sing and party.

As the night wore on and the drinks kept flowing, Naomi remembered Grandma Watkins's instructions. She discreetly slipped a pill from her pocket into a glass of sparkling wine and handed it to Leilani.

Leilani accepted the glass.

Naomi clumsily signed: *Leilani, you have to support me at the auction tomorrow. Here's to you. It's just sparkling wine, very light.*

Leilani smiled and nodded.

Naomi was one of the few people in the Watkins family who actually treated her well, and Leilani appreciated her.

She clinked glasses with Naomi and drank it all in one go.

Naomi watched from the corner of her eye and let out a long sigh of relief.

She hadn't failed her grandmother's mission. If Grandma Watkins finally got her great-grandchild, Naomi would be the hero!

Standing behind a crowd of onlookers, Leilani watched with her own eyes as Preston kicked over the romantic display.

The man who had been confessing his feelings flew into a rage. "Who the hell are you? What's your problem?"

Preston's gaze was sharp and intensely intimidating as he looked at Sienna. "Tell him who I am."

Sienna stubbornly took a step toward the other man. "I don't know this gentle—"

Preston grabbed Sienna's arm, yanked her forward, and cupped her face. He brought his lips down on hers in a punishing, passionate kiss that sent a wave of gasps and cheers through the crowd.

Leilani took out her phone and recorded the entire scene.

If the woman Preston was cheating with had been anyone else, Leilani might not have hated him this much.

But since this was how he wanted to play it...

He couldn't blame her for making sure he lost everything.

She was going to let him plummet off a cliff at the exact moment his company went public, his net worth skyrocketed, and he thought he was stepping into the peak of his life.

What kind of expression would Preston have then?

Leilani wiped a stray tear from the corner of her eye.

Suddenly, she couldn't wait to find out.
