Cassina was gently led to her room to rest, and Cassandra was the one kneeling on the ground.

Why couldn't Cassina do the same with her foster mother? Since she was unwilling to do so, I thought I would help her. That way, she only has you as her mother!”

She spoke with conviction and righteousness.

Did I never ask you to kill Paula? Cassie's situation differs entirely from yours. It was Bailey who saved her. If not for Bailey, I would never have had the chance to meet my biological daughter in this lifetime.”

Naturally, Cassandra understood it all. She just chose to act dumb.
