Cecilia hadn’t expected him to be so forthright.

Nathaniel leaned in closer to her. “We’re still married. What’s wrong with that?”

Since she couldn’t have it, there was no need for her to stay. 

Nathaniel swiftly grabbed her wrist and pulled her forcefully. She ended up falling heavily into his arms. 

Cecilia wanted to get up, but he firmly held her in his embrace. 

“Don’t move, from now on you’re sleeping here too. I can’t sleep alone.”
