To be precise, Magnus was the one indebted to Cecilia.
It was just that he had a good father. Regas was so kind to Cecilia that she couldn't bear to hurt his only son.
"From now on, he's on his own," Cecilia said softly.

Time flew by, and the seasons changed.
Vivian had given birth to a big, healthy boy.
When George saw his great-grandson, he was so excited that he almost passed away.
Fortunately, he was in the hospital at the time, and the medical staff managed to rescue him after a great effort.
It was then that Zachary realized George wasn't faking his illness; his condition was indeed worse than before.
"Grandpa, please take a rest. Don't get too emotional," Zachary said, sitting by George's bedside.
George waved his hand dismissively. "I'm fine; don't worry about me. You're a father now, so you should be with Vivian, don't leave her and the baby alone in the ward."
"Vivian is being looked after. Cecilia and the others have all gone to see her, so don't worry." Zachary was unusually mature today, no longer acting like a child as he had before.
George sighed in disappointment. "You foolish boy! Vivian gave birth to your child. As her husband, you should be the one by her side the most."
"Vivian asked me to keep you company," Zachary explained.
With that, George stopped scolding him, saying. "Then stay here for a bit, and then go find Vivian. Jon is here with me; I'll be fine."
Jonathan, who was also sitting beside the bed, nodded. "You should go, Mr. Zachary. I'll stay here."
Zachary was reassured by Jonathan's young but serious face.

Cecilia nodded repeatedly. "Yeah."

Indulging in fantasy, she continued, "You have four sons, while I have one daughter. Doesn't that mean I have plenty of options to choose from?"
Elliot, who was sitting nearby and looking at the newborn baby, couldn't help but shudder.
He turned to Vivian and said seriously, "Ms. Kennedy, arranged marriages are outdated. We must respect the children's own choices."
No way. If Ms. Kennedy had a daughter, that girl would definitely be bossy like her, and she might even beat up others. I don't want to marry a wife who would beat me up.
When Vivian and Cecilia heard his remark, they exchanged and couldn't help but laugh out loud.
