**TITLE: HereSelf 577**
**CONTENT: Chapter 577 Yulia’s Terms**
Natalie couldn’t believe her ears. She had never imagined that Jensen would sink to such depths!
Despite the countless times she reassured herself that Jensen’s transformation into someone unrecognizable was no longer her concern, the sudden revelation stung deeply. It felt as if the five years she had poured into their relationship—her love, her youth—had all been for naught.
A man like him was not even remotely worthy of being compared to Baron!
Jensen’s expression morphed into one of fury, his face draining of color as he processed Yulia’s audacious words. When Natalie’s probing question pierced the air, he felt his stomach drop. In a frantic attempt to defend himself, he stumbled over his words.
“No, Natalie, please don’t listen to her ridiculous claims! I came here today strictly for a Luke Corp order. I have absolutely no interest in Yulia. This widow? She’s been with who knows how many men! You know me—I’m a germaphobe! How could I ever get involved with someone like that?”
Yulia couldn’t help but chuckle at his desperate attempt to extricate himself from the situation.
“Oh, Mr. Jensen, is that so? Does this mean that as long as I keep my bedpost from being too busy with other men, you’d be open to being my partner in the sheets?”
“Shut your mouth!”
Jensen’s frustration boiled over. He wished, with every fiber of his being, that he could somehow silence Yulia, to stitch her lips shut.
How could this woman possess such a blatant disregard for decency?
“Natalie, please, just hear me out…”
With a sense of urgency, Jensen reached for Natalie’s hand, but she deftly evaded his grasp, a look of determination on her face.
“Mr. Jensen, I really don’t care about your personal affairs. I’m sorry, but I’ll leave you two to discuss this further.”
With that, Natalie turned on her heel, ready to walk away.
“Natalie!”
“Goodness, Mr. Jensen, what are you doing? A stunning beauty is standing right before you, yet you’re acting all shy! If you serve me well, how about I grant you as many orders as you desire?”
Yulia stepped in front of Natalie like a wall, her hand clasping Jensen’s with a flirtatious glimmer in her eyes that made Natalie shudder.
Feeling a wave of discomfort wash over her, Natalie quickly exited the scene, her heart racing.
“Natalie!”
By the time Jensen attempted to intercept her once more, he realized it was too late.
All he could do was watch helplessly as Natalie slipped away from his view, a sense of despair settling in his chest.
“Yulia, have you lost your mind?”
Her smile was alluring, but Jensen couldn’t shake the feeling that her eyes held no warmth, only calculation.
“What exactly do you want from me?”
Taking a steadying breath, he fought to suppress the whirlwind of emotions threatening to consume him.
Seeing him regain his composure seemed to impress Yulia, her demeanor shifting slightly.
“Impressive. To keep your cool in a situation like this… it seems Mr. Jensen has some depth. Very well. If you agree to stop pursuing Natalie and find a suitable woman of equal status to marry, completely severing any lingering feelings for Natalie, I’ll grant you the order. How does that sound?”
As Yulia laid out her terms, Jensen’s eyes narrowed, suspicion creeping into his mind.
“Are you and Natalie friends?”
“Not at all. Today was our first encounter.”
Her response caused Jensen’s brow to furrow in confusion.
“Then why do you care if I pester her? What do you know about our past?”
“I’m not interested in your history, nor do I care to know. I simply know you were together for five long years, and in the end, you cast her aside for a fleeting crush, leaving her in a perilous situation. Now, Mr. Jensen, you regret your actions, realizing she was your true love, and wish to win her back. But let me remind you, not everyone will wait indefinitely for your return. Begging for forgiveness doesn’t always lead to success. Sometimes, the ‘second male lead’ steals the girl, doesn’t he?”
