**Chapter 578: Confrontations and Consequences**

Jensen’s mood soured instantly, his features contorting into a mask of displeasure. The news struck him like a thunderclap, darkening his expression further, as if a storm was brewing within him.

“My relationship with Natalie is none of your concern! What do you even know about us? That entire display you just put on—was that for Natalie’s benefit? You did it on purpose, didn’t you?” His voice was sharp, each word laced with accusation.

“Absolutely, I did,” Yulia replied, her tone nonchalant, her shoulders lifting in a casual shrug. There was no trace of remorse in her demeanor; her malicious intent was as clear as day. “What are you planning to do about it?”

Jensen felt a surge of anger that ignited a fiery redness in his eyes. His fists clenched tightly at his sides, the knuckles cracking ominously under the pressure. “Yulia, consider yourself fortunate to be the young miss of the Gunn family. If you weren’t, I swear I would end you right here!” His voice was a low growl, each word dripping with venom, his gaze piercing with unrestrained hatred.

“Jensen, don’t flatter yourself. You think I’m your only option? Sure, I need this order from the Gunn family to secure my position within the Luke family. But you’ve seriously misjudged me! Without the Gunn family’s backing, it may take me a little longer, but I will get what I want. I, Jensen, do not need you!” His voice was resolute, echoing with a defiance that reverberated in the air.

With that declaration, he stormed away, fury propelling him forward like a tempest.

Once he had vanished from sight, Yulia erupted into laughter, a mocking sound that echoed in the empty space around her.

“Lucky to be the young miss of the Gunn family? If only you knew the truth about what that really means,” she scoffed, her words dripping with sarcasm.

She muttered under her breath, irritation bubbling up within her. With a swift motion, she fished a slender cigarette from her purse, lit it, and inhaled deeply. The harsh smoke filled her lungs, triggering a violent cough that shook her body, tears spilling from her eyes. Yet, in the midst of her coughing fit, she found herself laughing uncontrollably.

“Look at me, smoking again. Where are you when I need you to scold me? Didn’t you promise to take care of me for the rest of your life? Cough, cough…” The words tumbled out between gasps, a mix of humor and despair.

Crouching by the roadside, she resembled a lost puppy, forlorn and abandoned. The world around her felt suffocating, and she had no one to reach out to. The weight of her emotions pressed down on her chest, making it hard to breathe. Frantically, she pulled out her phone, scrolling through her contacts until she found that one number she could never call again. She dialed it repeatedly, each ring met with a cold, mechanical tone that echoed her loneliness. As the tears streamed down her cheeks, it felt as if a dam had burst within her.

Meanwhile, Natalie was blissfully unaware of the chaos unraveling in Yulia’s life. After leaving the café, she wasted no time. She had already arranged for someone to purchase the packaging boxes from the mall and send them to the studio while she made her way to the entrance of Baron’s Grant International Holdings.

Jensen, on the other hand, was oblivious to Natalie’s whereabouts. However, sensing they were close to her studio, he headed there without hesitation.
