When She Rose From the Ashes (Natalie and Jensen) novel Chapter 594

**Title: HereSelf 594**
**Chapter 594: The Final Revelation**

“What is it?”

Baron’s mood was as dark as a stormy sky. The weight of disbelief pressed heavily on his chest. Could it really be true that this tangled mess was connected to the Gun family? Was that scoundrel Hayes truly so relentless in his vendetta against him?

Yulia, standing beside him, felt the icy grip of fear as she sensed the fury radiating from Baron. His anger was palpable, like a thunderclap echoing through the room.

Jonas, ever the protector, instinctively pulled Yulia closer to him, wrapping his arms around her in a comforting embrace. “Baron, please don’t scare my wife,” he said firmly, his tone a mix of concern and authority.

Baron merely rolled his eyes, dismissing Jonas as if he were an annoying fly buzzing around his head.

Unfazed, Jonas continued, “It’s really not a big deal. Just a little revelation. You see, Rachel’s son, Jensen—the CEO of Luke Corp—is actually the offspring of Rachel and Hayes. So, in simpler terms, Jensen is your half-brother, Baron.”

“Are you out of your mind?” Baron exclaimed, his voice rising in disbelief.

He shot to his feet, his hands instinctively grabbing Jonas by the collar, his eyes ablaze with fury. The anger coursing through him felt like molten lava, ready to erupt.

Yulia, her heart racing, reached out and grasped Baron’s wrist, her voice trembling. “Please, don’t get upset! It’s true! Rachel was Hayes’ woman from the very start. He’s nothing but a scumbag!”

In that moment, Yulia’s words marked a turning point; she no longer referred to Hayes as “dad,” her loyalty shifting in response to the shocking revelation.

Natalie stood frozen, her mind racing to process the implications. Jensen and Baron… brothers? The thought was bewildering. They bore no physical resemblance, yet there was something in the way they carried themselves that felt eerily similar. Jensen seemed to take after Rachel, while Baron had inherited traits from Mrs. Gunn.

Baron’s thoughts spiraled as he considered the age gap. “Jensen is the same age as my wife. So, while my mother was carrying me, Hayes was not only keeping Candice on the side, but he was also entangled with Rachel? What a piece of work!” The realization gnawed at him, each thought more infuriating than the last.

“Does my older brother know about this?” Natalie’s voice was unnaturally calm, a chilling stillness that sent shivers through those present.

Jonas regarded her with a mixture of sympathy and concern. “Your brother isn’t much older than you. Candice orchestrated the swap out of revenge. Hayes cleaned up the aftermath to safeguard the Gunn family, and to further complicate matters, he switched you with the Summers’ child. At that point, it was merely damage control. By the time your brother’s research project surfaced, you were almost eighteen. Hayes likely seized the opportunity to have Sharon contact the Summers, manipulating them into targeting you to ‘make amends’ with their real daughter.”

“Of course, everything you endured was meticulously documented by Hayes and relayed to Moses. This relentless documentation drove Moses to the brink, as he desperately sought to reach out to you or send messages to the Stone family. But his department was high-security; he couldn’t see anyone until the project was completed. This urgency fueled him, and he managed to finish the project—something that should have taken years—earlier this year. But he pushed himself to the point of collapse. Now, he lies in a coma, receiving treatment at the secure department’s hospital.”

Waylon and Ruby sprang to their feet, alarmed. “What’s the current status of Moses?”

“Still in a coma,” came the heavy reply.

Baron, fully aware of Jonas’s background, recognized the gravity of the information being shared. He understood that this was no mere fabrication; it was a bitter truth they were all forced to confront.
