His expression was proud, though tinged with the regret of never becoming a trust fund kid.

Serena kept her face polite and nodded.

Olivia turned from the passenger seat, cheeks pink. “One day, you’ll find true love too.”

All three kids shuddered in the back seat.

Arbor looked at his wife with a soft smile, the memories of their early romance reflected in his gaze. “By the way, I want to bring home some flowers and plants to grow. That way I can spend more time with you all.”

Lebron’s tense expression cased, and he nodded.

Back home, the whole family settled in for a nap. After taking his medicine, Lebron only drifted off once Olivia personally stayed with him.

Then Serena’s phone rang – an unfamiliar number. She hesitated before answering.

“Is this Ms. Serena? This is Noah, Mr. Hayes’s assistant. There’s an urgent matter, and I’ve already sent a car to pick you up…”

Noah? Mr. Hayes? Who?

Arbor didn’t know what to say.

Leon lounged on the sofa, legs crossed. “This is Dr. Zimmerman. He’s not only a master of surgery but also skilled in alternative medicine

It was obvious they intended to force a medical examination.

Noah and the others looked grim.

Leon’s eyes narrowed, his long legs sheathed in camouflage and combat boots, powerful and commanding. When his eyes tilted upward at the corners, they carried a dangerous, wicked charm.
