Chapter 511 Check Her

Darius didn’t answer Leon’s question. Instead, he uncrossed his legs and stood up. “I don’t have time to waste on nonsense today. If anything happens to Thora none of you will get off easy.”
He had already figured out that Leon’s real goal was just to lure him away. There was no intention of sincerely solving the problem. He wasn’t going to waste another second.
Leon frowned, but he kept his tone calm and respectful. “Mr. Blackwood, your fated mate has nothing to do with us.”
Darius stopped mid-step and turned slightly, a cold cure lifting his lips. “No. The moment I walked in here it became your problem.”
With that, he strode back toward Thora’s room without another word.
Yereah had also sensed something was off. But with Darius around, he didn’t worry too much. Darius was far more meticulous than he was.
Darius opened the door to Thora’s room and flipped on the lights.
A faint scent of blood lingered in the air.
His brows tightened. He quickly walked to the bedside and reached out to check her temperature. It was no longer icy. Warmth had returned to her body.
He immediately examined her carefully. His gaze finally locked onto a tiny needle mark on her arm. His eyes turned instantly cold.
“Yereah.”
“I’m here!” Yereah hurried in. Leon didn’t stop him.
“Check her now.” Darius’s tone left no room for refusal.
Though confused, Yereah immediately opened his medical kit and performed a full examination on Thora.
Darius stood up and looked toward Leon at the door. Leon’s expression was grave, and the way he looked at them was strange. What exactly was the relationship between Darius’s mate and that man?
“She…” Yereah’s face was filled with shock. “She’s out of danger.”
After finishing the exam, he looked at Thora, then at Darius, eyes wide with disbelief.
Darius, though, was unusually calm now, no longer as frantic as before.
“When will she wake up?”
“With her constitution? Around 24 hours,” Yereah answered.
Darius’s gaze remained fixed on Thora’s face. In his deep eyes, both concern and something unreadable lingered.
Three hours later, Thora was still resting in the museun

theories.
“You knew he would come?” Darius looked at Leon. It wasn’t a question—it was an accusation.
Leon shook his head. “No. I didn’t.”
Darius studied him coldly, a faint sneer on his lips. He didn’t press, but he exerted heavy, invisible pressure.
Leon quickly explained, “My assistant only said that maybe we could try blood cloning. I had him test your mate’s blood, and we found there’s no matching donor in Blue Star’s blood bank. It’s such a rare type. For people like us who do research, it’s hard not to be curious. We’d love to study a sample.”
After a short pause, he continued, “As for whether it’s the same blood type as that man’s, we have no way of knowing. There shouldn’t be anyone in this world who has his blood sample. Think about it. If we did, do you think this place would still be standing like this?”
Darius stared at him for a few seconds, making sure he wasn’t lying. Leon truly didn’t know anything.
“Where is he?” Darius asked deeply.
Leon shook his head again. “No idea. Even Blue Star Military Academy can’t track him down. We know even less.”
He gave a faint smile. “You should understand. There’s only a thin line between a genius and a madman- sometimes no line at all. That man is both. That’s why some people love him, and some hate him. And madmen? They’re always impossible to predict.”
Darius’s pupils shrank slightly. After a moment of silence, he picked up the teacup on the table and took a small sip.
“What exactly is the relationship between your mate and that man?” Leon couldn’t hide the curiosity in his
eyes.
Darius’s lips curved up slightly, but there was no warmth in his gaze. “I don’t know either.”
Leon froze for a second, then fell silent. He thought Darius was hiding the truth on purpose, but Darius truly didn’t know what the relationship was between those two.
“About the blood cloning…” Leon couldn’t help bringing it up again.
Darius’s eyes turned icy. “Not necessary.”
Before Leon could say anything more, Darius cut him off completely. “It won’t happen again.”
Thora’s body and her blood could easily become targets for others’ greed. Darius would never take that risk. He would never leave behind any sample of Thora.
Leon still wanted to argue for it, but seeing that Darius wouldn’t budge, he finally gave up, though he felt a bit disappointed inside.
Meanwhile, during the few hours Thora was unconscious, the Golden Triad had been turned upside down by people from Blue Star Military Academy.
It had never been this “clean” before. Even the hidden murderers had vanished without a trace.
Anyone who knew the people from the academy was there almost thought their mission this year was to

There were only two days left before returning to campus. Some people had already started heading back, while others stayed in the Golden Triad, unwilling to give up searching for Thora.
Just then, the radar in Luke’s hand-the one that originally belonged to Thora-suddenly lit up.
