Wolfless? No! Call Me Alpha Commander! novel Chapter 512

Chapter 512 She’s Safe

Luke was drinking water when he saw it. He spat it out in shock. “Why did Boss run over there?”

Before he could say more, the communicator rang.

After Tristan and the others picked up the call, they were overjoyed and kept nodding in response.

As soon as the call ended, Tristan immediately ordered everyone to prepare to return to campus. At the same time, he told Luke to quickly notify the others that Thora was safe.

Those simple words lifted the heavy weight from everyone’s hearts.

As long as Thora was fine, there was nothing to worry about. And since the message came directly from her people, it meant she didn’t need them right now.

Everyone packed up and got

ready to head back.

Thora turned off her communicator and slowly looked around the room she was in. It looked like a temporary ward.

The first thing she did after waking up was check on Amie. Through their mind-link, she learned that Amie was only a little weak and could recover on her own. Only then did she fully relax.

Next, she checked her communication devices and realized they had probably been accidentally turned off during the fight.

She guessed she had been missing for several days, so she immediately replied to Tristan.

After handling all that, she finally had time to think about what happened that night. She had been hit with

a neurotoxin and shot once. Then Draven showed up, and that destructive ability exploded.

Her eyes turned sharp. How is he now?

She looked at the IV needle in her arm and reached to pull it out.

“What now? You’re injured and still won’t behave? Are you trying to get yourself killed?” An angry voice suddenly came from the doorway.

Thora froze and stopped. She turned her head toward the door. Darius walked in carrying a plate of fruit. With a few long strides, he reached the bedside.

He looked down at her, the anger in his eyes obvious.

Sitting on the bed, Thora tilted her head up and met his gaze. She instantly recognized him.

He was Darius, not Draven.

The hand that had been about to pull out the needle slowly withdrew. Her eyes felt a little dry, and she blinked softly.

That small, gentle movement looked oddly cute on her creating a contrast that made people want to pull her into their arms and rub her head.

Darius saw it. The smile at the corner of his lips deepened, and the anger in his eyes disappeared. One brow lifted slightly.

“Sit properly,” he said suddenly.

Thora frowned but adjusted her posture, leaning back against the headboard.

Only then did Darius sit down beside the bed. He picked up a piece of cut fruit from the plate and held it to her lips.

Thora didn’t open her mouth. She scowled. “I’ll do it myself.” She wasn’t used to being fed.

But Darius clearly wasn’t letting her.

Thora sighed. Just as she was about to open her mouth, he suddenly thought of something and casually asked, “Did you wash your hands?”

Darius was speechless. He believed this troublemaker would drive him crazy one day.

Seeing that Darius was about to get mad again, Thora felt confused. She had only asked casually. Was that worth getting angry over?

Still, she obediently finished all the fruit he fed her.

She had just woken up and didn’t eat much, and Darius lidn’t force her.

He set the fruit plate on the table beside them and finally told her about her condition. “The toxin in your body has been cleared. Yereah said your body has already developed antibodies against it. If you run into it again, it won’t affect you as much.”

Thora nodded and looked at the wound on her shoulder. There was still a faint ache, but it had clearly healed completely.

Her natural healing speed was fast, but not that fast.

She looked up at Darius and asked directly, “Did you use your regeneration ability?”

Darius simply raised an eyebrow without answering;

“Don’t use it again unless it’s necessary,” Thora said deeply.

She knew that special-type abilities drained far more mental and physical energy than ordinary abilities. Overusing them, especially beyond one’s limit, could even shorten a person’s lifespan.
