"Hey my dear wife, let me tell you something."
Yanny stared at him with a gentle smile when she noticed he seemed as if he had something important to tell her as she said, "What's up? I wonder whose daughter you have your eyes on now."
Shayne replied, "... Am I really that scummy?"
Yanny said, "... Well, more or less."
Shayne decided to not continue arguing with her as he spoke in a serious tone, "The truth is, I actually have another name that no one else knows about."
Yanny was instantly awake as she stared at him and asked, "What name? B*stard Jinn?"
Shayne was speechless as he coughed.
"I'm being serious."
Yanny stopped teasing him as she yawned and said, "What is it then?"
"When I was born, my grandfather gave me the name. However, aside from my grandfather and my sister, no one else knew about it."
Yanny asked, "What about Heaton, Cameron and the others?"
Shayne raised his brows and spoke in a carefree tone, "Why should I tell those bunch of dogs? It's inappropriate."
Yanny burst out laughing as she said, "Who would call their best friends dogs?"
"Do you think they aren't doing the same behind my back? Yeah, that Heaton Fudd, the guy that came to rescue you in Africa along with me, did you know that he swindled a stone quarry from me for such a small favor?"
'Whoa.
'Oh, so this means that Heaton, Cameron and the others also call him a dog too.
'Then, they're all even.'
Yanny caressed the thinner parts of his neck and asked, "What exactly is your name then?”
The man stared intensely at her with his glimmering eyes and replied in a serious tone, "I'm Jordan."
"Jordan?"
"Whoa, Yanny and Jordan, we are a perfect couple."
"Jordan…" Yanny was repeatedly mumbling the name.
Shayne explained, "My grandfather said, a good man has to be a visionary, smart and honorable. Hence, he named me Jordan."
Yanny hugged his neck and cracked a smile as she said, "It sounds really nice. The name sounds powerful too."
Shayne lowered his head and kissed her lips before commanding her in a slightly barbaric way, "Say my name."
"Jordan."
"Continue."
Yanny was speechless as she stopped.
Shayne made Yanny call him Jordan the entire night.
While they were at the peak of their intimate excursion, Shayne kissed her while whispering into her ears in a deep voice. It sounded very loving, "Hey Yanny, did you know that aside from my family, I'll only tell my wife that name?"
…
Shayne brought Yanny along with him to the cemetery before New Years eve to visit his father.
The man on the tombstone looked handsome and resembled Shayne a lot. He looked very elegant as well.
Yanny placed a bouquet of cornflowers in front of the tombstone.
Shayne was not in a good mood, perhaps he was recalling his father's death. He even looked a little depressed.
All Yanny did was hold onto his hand without saying much.
Shayne stared at the handsome man's picture on the tombstone and said, "I thought about it for many years as to why a man as excellent as my father would still be betrayed."
Yanny was stunned and could somewhat understand the reason behind him not bringing his mother up at all.
