Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 602

Evening came, and Wilson had gone through the day without any food.

Ruby and Thompson were to meet Frost Blade that night, and it was dinner time. Ruby went to the sick ward to ask Wilson to have some food.

Ruby knocked on the door and said, "Aret, you cannot continue like this. It's okay if you want to stay by Serene's side, but she's getting her nutrition via the drips. You are injured, and with your wounds, you would collapse soon. If you want to avenge Serene, it's best if you come out and have a bite with us."

Ruby understood Wilson's stubbornness well. She thought that Wilson would not listen to her, but he was out of the ward a couple of minutes later. He sat at the dining table and was prepared to have his meal.

Ruby and Thompson looked at him in surprise.

Thompson smiled and said, "I'm glad that you came to your senses. The most important thing right now is for you to eat more to save your energy. We still have an important war to fight."

Ruby picked some dishes for Wilson and said, "Things are what they are right now, and you need to accept that. You need to protect Serene and Z country, so the burden on your shoulder is very heavy. You'll have to adjust your mentality so that you're not at your wit's end."

Even though Wilson did not say anything, he seemed to have heard what Thompson and Ruby had said.

After his meal, Wilson did not immediately go back to the ward. Instead, he sat on the steps by the door and cleaned his gun.

Ruby sat beside him and said, "It seems like you've made up your mind to avenge Serene."

Wilson's eyes grew cold, and he said, "It's not only for Serene, but it's also for my late parents."

Ruby was stunned. "Your parents? Did Stephen kill your parents…"

Wilson turned around and looked at Ruby. "Do you still remember what I told you about the vice-leader? That vice-leader from years ago was my father. He was labeled as a traitor and was killed by Stephen. Stephen did not let go of my mother. He shot her in front of me."

"I had no idea. Stephen hid this matter so thoroughly. We joined the organization when we were young, so we didn't know the truth about this. Stephen's a real pervert. He killed your parents and raised you. He trained you to be his opponent, and now he's after you. This person is too despicable."

"I will not let him get what he wants."

Ruby stretched her fist toward Wilson. "We are not only war buddies; we are also a family. No matter what happens, Thompson and I will always be by your side to fight with you."

Wilson finally had a smile on his haggardly handsome face. He immediately stretched his fist and bumped it with Ruby's.

"Serene and I would have died if you and Thompson didn't come today. Thank you for doing this for me."

Ruby frowned and said, "There's no need to thank me. I didn't even thank you when you saved me at the underground tomb."

That night, Ruby and Thompson headed toward East Woods Castle.

They had just got out of the car when a wave of a hurricane covered the East Woods Castle's skyline. Ruby and Thompson looked up at the same time. A helicopter had landed at the property.

Thompson said, "Frost Blade's very punctual."

The helicopter landed, and two men climbed out of the helicopter.

The tall man was Frost Blade. His entire person emitted a chilly and strong aura. Even though he had a handsome face, he had a 'don't come near me' sign written all over his body. Not many women in the world would dare to go near to him.

Wilson also had a cold aura, but it was quite different from Frost Blade's aura. Wilson had a gentle and considerate side, but Frost Blade did not.

He was also not attentive when they were in bed.

A man like that could only be observed from far away. He was like a god who had been on the altar for too long, was never involved in the human world, and did not know how to be in a relationship.
