Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 603

'I want you—'

Those three words vibrated in Ruby's ears.

The woman's thick and long eyelashes trembled as if it was a butterfly spreading its wings.

Ruby was not the only one who had paused. Thompson, who was beside her, was also stunned into silence.

What did Blaine say? Did he say he wanted Ruby?

Only Blaine would dare to say something like that!

Thompson wanted to give Blaine a thumbs up! Nice job!

Blaine's darkened eyes looked at the woman's fair and pretty face like a hawk. "Why? Are you unwilling?"

Ruby inhaled deeply. She looked at him directly. "Are you serious, Leader Frost Blade? I don't worth as much as those resources."

The man stared at her eyes as he thought about it. "I'm joking."

Ruby relaxed.

The corners of Thompson's mouth twitched. "..."

As the scene got extremely embarrassing, Thompson tried to lighten the mood. "I had no idea that Leader Frost Blade tells such good jokes." Then he laughed.

He hugged Ruby's shoulder and said, "I was wondering why Leader Frost Blade did not want to discuss conditions but wanted this poisonous Black Rose, instead. Leader Frost Blade, you might not know this, but I don't think any man would want Black Rose. She might prick you and make you bleed."

Blaine's eyes glanced sharply at Thompson's hand on the woman's shoulder like a knife.

Thompson had a high EQ. He quickly removed his hand when he realized that something was wrong.

Then Blaine turned his sight away and squinted his eyes. "You are not sincere with your offers, and you are not qualified to cooperate with the Dark Organization."

Blaine stood up and strode out of the room after he said that.

Ruby inhaled deeply and stopped Thompson just as he was about to follow him. "Stay here. Don't disturb my plan!"

Thompson had nothing to say about that.

When had he ever disturbed other people's plans?

Disturbed other people's plans? Whose plans? Did he disturb whatever that went on between Ruby and Frost Blade?

Whatever that was between them… Well, what else could that be?

Thompson had curiosity written all over his face.

Ruby ran out of the East Woods Castle.

"Blaine! Wait!"

Blaine stopped in his tracks. Ruby stopped in front of him. "You have to work with us."

Blaine stared at the woman in front of her. He curled his lips and smiled coldly. "You're the first woman who dares speak to me like this."

"The advantages of working with us outweigh the cons. Unless you think that the Dark Organization's strength is incomparable to that of the Light Organization, and so you're panicking instead."

"Woman, goading me into action will never work."

Ruby was a very tall woman. She was about 1.7meters tall and had on a pair of 5cm stilettos. Ordinary guys would look no different in height as they stood next to her.

However, when Blaine stood in front of her, he was still much taller than her, even when she wore a pair of stilettos.

The man was tall, and his aura was notably strong. She was well-trained, but she would feel nervous around him too.

However, she was still Ruby. She had a cold expression on her pretty face as she looked at Blaine and asked, "What do you want?"

Blaine had a slightly humorous smile in his eyes. "I told you; I want you. I wasn't joking."

"Aren't you afraid that I'd kill you?"
